The Miz was a big favorite of WWE management back when he won the WWE Title a year ago because of publicity that he brought the company. The feeling now is that Miz has regressed, both in the ring and on the microphone. The feeling is that when Miz was booked as a mid-carder before, he was hungry and forced officials to make him a headliner. Now he?s back to the mid-card and isn?t forcing them to push him. The botch with R-Truth on this week?s RAW didn?t do him any favors.

As noted before, The Undertaker vs. Triple H is indeed one of the matches on the books for WrestleMania 28. The talk is that Taker will return in early 2012 to pick back up on the feud with Triple H.

I remember at least 10 matches from the 3 hour Raw 2 weeks ago and barely a single promo as compared to the usual, what, 3 matches and 6 promos?

The advantage to this method too is that far more superstars are naturally utilized for the 3 hour shows so I can not only see Smackdown people which I probably wouldn't otherwise, but them vs. Raw people instead the same 3 matches over and over and over again.

Looked like Adam Jones from TOOL behind the announce table Monday.

IMO Raw should permanently transition to 3 hour shows or perhaps at least 1 a month - definately the strongest shows in a very long time.

What is the point of the Draft when superstars now seem to be completely interchangeable between shows?

Some of the SmackDown stars scheduled for next week's three-hour "WWE All Stars Night" RAW include Randy Orton, Christian, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry, Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes and Sin Cara.

JR: Do I think that Mick Foley will ever return to WWE? Better question for Mick to answer than me and he's on Twitter. I don't know. I do think that Mick's best, on going assets are his verbal skills and not a long string of wrestling bouts. Mick's PR value to any company is significant. Someone also asked if Mick vs. Undertaker at WM28 would make sense. For me, no. That ship has sailed and those two can never replicate what they once had and did back in the day nor do I think that they should try. However, Mick Foley is a great human being and certainly a future WWE Hall of Famer in my eyes. Mick is another guy who would be a great mentor to young talents in any developmental system.

There has been concern expressed within WWE this past week regarding SmackDown live event business. When WWE did the Draft after Edge retired, the idea was that SmackDown had to be made strong enough that it could still draw on the road. It's been noted that Orton, Christian and Sheamus aren't doing good business on top and WWE went in with the idea that Orton would be strong enough to carry the brand, as far as the business side of things go. All of this likely has to do with this weekend's SmackDown shows being canceled and moved to September.

An odd situation happened after Tuesday's WWE SmackDown tapings in Des Moines, Iowa. After SmackDown ended, Mark Henry came out for a dark main event that was advertised to be Christian vs. Randy Orton. Henry entered the ring and just waited as no opponent ever came out. Henry waited for around five minutes before finally beginning to cut a promo to the crowd. Each time Henry would begin to speak, the microphones were cut.

Instead of getting a promo accomplished, Henry began to taunt some fans at ringside. After 15 minutes of this going on, ring announcer Tony Chimel announced that while fans waited for Mark Henry's opponent, WWE thanks the fans for attending.

Henry's music started playing for a few minutes before stopping. Hornswoggle's music then hit but he never came out. After a few minutes of that, The Great Khali's old theme music played but again, nobody came out. Khali's music stopped and Vince McMahon's music played but as expected, he didn't come out either. After about 20 minutes since SmackDown ended, Henry got tired of waiting for an opponent and walked to the back. No word yet on what happened but it sounds like WWE was playing a big rib on Henry.

Wrestling / DDP returning?

DDP on possibly coming back to the WWE in the future & how he is doing today:

"I spoke to Johnny Ace about this...I haven't heard back from him on it. I told him I would love to do some kind of PR. Some public relations.. That sort of thing is what Vince [McMahon] wanted me to do when I left. He wanted me to stay and be the color-commentator but I was burnt out of wrestling for so many years and I needed a break. Long story short, 10 years later I'm still doing pretty well but I would love to be a part of the WWE family."

What an absurdly anti-climatic ending - I would have been severely irritated had I paid money to be there.
