As they have done it, this weeks TNA scored a 0.5 - so its done worse in the ratings rather than get any new viewers to the product.
TNA made the decision to put the World Title on Rob Van Dam on the April 19th iMPACT after the 0.6 rating came out from the week before. The feeling was that what the were doing wasn’t working and they needed to try something different and do a title change.So they did it because of a poor rating hoping to increase interest and viewers and followed it with it's worst monday night rating since they made the switch.
