I assumed that someone only gets #1 Contender points if the match they won earned a title match for themselves. TSC management are on the case....

It could have been though, in theory, he won it and choose to give the chance to someone else, right?

Same was when we've given people points for making title defences on somebody elses behalf so the points are due (as much as it pains me).
