After watching this week's SD, I think what bothers me most about his commentary is that it sounds like he's trying to come up with as many soundbites as possible. Jerry Lawler back in his heyday was a great heel colour commentator, nothing he said sounded like he'd written it down beforehand and was planning on saying it. Asking stuff like "what fuels the fire inside Kane?" or whatever it was he said after Kane Chokeslammed some people just doesn't sound natural.

Plus, him challenging the NXT rookies to try something else was just laughable. He doesn't really do 'threatening'....
