Personally i don't think Barrett is ready, and i know that people like Swagger wern't either but at least Swagger worked for the company for a solid period before.
He'd spent the 12 mths prior as a comedy midcarder, his career had sunk so low he was stuck on
Superstars and getting outsmarted by the likes of
Santino Marella.
I'm all for the slow build, and I'd like them to take their time with
Barrett, but he's a much more viable option now than Swagger was when he won it. Barrett has been leading the charge against the entire
RAW Main Event for the past few months.
