Yeah it is big news because this now puts the World title up in the air. However that is beside the point I feel for Edge because you could see in his eyes how bad this was killing him, and I just watch and shook my head because to be honest with you guys I thought it was a work and that Alberto was going to come out and ruin it and force Edge to wrestle him on Smackdown for the world title. However after a few minutes of watching it I knew it was the real deal and I knew Edge was speaking from his heart about having to leave wrestling forever.

Now I am going to sound like the bad guy here when I say this but all that could have been prevented if Edge did not take no called for risk just to entertain people, the best advice I ever receive when I wrestle was save your body for when you are old.  I watch a lot of these younger wrestlers and all I see is no called for risk plain and simple for example Sin Cara more he did on Primo was awesome but it was no called for risk that if he had not hit that move just right he would have cripple or even worst he would have killed Primo!

Today wrestlers take too many uncalled for risk and it resulting in shorten careers and too many wrestlers retiring from serious neck injuries that could have been prevent! Hey I know that it takes a certain kind of person to be a wrestler and I know when you step in that ring you have to understand the risk and dangers that come from being in this kind of sport, and also when you step inside that ring you must be able to put your body in the hand of the person you are in that ring with as well as they must trust you with their body. Still when I hear what type of surgery Edge had just to be able to get back into the ring I just shake my head and I have to ask myself is it worth it, was it worth doing all that to come back to entertain people, although Edge yes it was I say no it was not worth because long term effects are not worth it one single bit.

Now I am going to turn it around and sound like a two face here but from a wrestler point of view I see where Edge is coming from because if it was me and I was making the money he was making at the time I would have done it too. Now I know that the wrestling I grew up and love have evolve and change and wrestlers put there bodies through hell just for the sake of entertaining people.  But is it worth it when you get old and can no longer do it?
My heart burns with a desire as it screams out for me to show you the error of your ways, and set you on the path of Righteousness!
