Gotta admit this event was underwhelming.  With the concept of the elimination chamber, it's almost impossible to have an awful PPV, but this was just ok.  The Raw EC match wasn't half bad but the Jericho injury angle killed the flow of the match a little.  The booking at the end was **** up as well.  The Miz in the final 2?  They should have made Billy Gunn Jr err Dolph Ziggler the final guy along with CM Punk.  It fits with the recent storyline of Ziggler chasing for the belt and would have been far more believable.

I skipped the Divas match and the impromptu US title match.  The Smackdown EC match was OK.  The injuries clearly took a toll on this one.  The beginning with the Big Show and Barrett(?) was boring.  As soon as they got the 2 big lugs out of there (Big Show and Khali) the work rate and flow of the match picked up.  They sold the Santino as underdog story really well and the crowd really helped.  I thought Barrett did pretty good work in the match along with Bryan and Rhodes.

I watched Cena-Kane and found it to be weak.  It's the standard Cena beats the odds match.  I found it hilarious how the commentators tried to defend Cena as he was getting booed like hell by the crowds.

As an aside I watched the chamber match from 2002 and JR by himself absolutely **** all over the current announcers.  These clowns have no idea how to tell or enhance the match story.  Lawler hasn't been interesting for a looong time.  To be honest, I would have had Lawler retire and pay JBL a bounty to become a main color commentator.  He made Cole tolerable while they were on Smackdown.
