Ernie Hudson has reportedly joined the cast of NBC's Heroes.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hudson - who has previously appeared in Desperate Housewives, Private Practice and Oz - will join the show's upcoming fourth season as a recurring cast member.
He will play Captain Lubbock, a Baltimore detective who is said to be on the hunt for one of the other characters on the show.
The new season of Heroes kicks off with a two-hour premiere Monday, September 21 on NBC.
