I like Bret but he should've dropped the title. Shawn has a life and a family to support, so even if he wanted to, which I agree he probably didn't care, but in the wrestling business, u got to do what u are told.

If Vince wanted Bret to drop it then just tell him! Don't do that! Bret knew that Survivor Series was his last match and he knew with two months to go. Out of those 8 weeks 7 weeks were in the US! Bret said he would of dropped the title anywhere but Canada and told Vince that at the time they decided he'd be leaving. So why not have Shawn cheat Bret out of the title on US soil and then make the Survivor Series match the re-match and have Bret win by DQ.... Simple and Sorted!

Instead Vince told Bret he could leave anyway he wanted and agreed that he wouldn't lose the belt at SS. and then did that.... i think thats being a coward.

HBK at that time was the fastest rising star in WWE, he could of said i'm not doing it like that and nothing would have come of it. He enjoyed doing it and i'm not sure he has ever apoligised for that disgraceful act. And he should. If thats wat you have to do to get ahead in life then you're life is nothing but a joke. Maybe thats one reason why HBK found god.... Coz he realised he was a Twat and instead of admitting it he thought that God had told him to shape up.

Not everyone in the business does what they are told.... many have gone against Vince and stayed in WWE. Undertaker, Rock & Mick Foley to name 3 and not all when they were "stars" either. YOU ALWAYS HAVE A CHOICE IN LIFE. Fine you can understand why they made the decsion.... but there is only one wrong party and thats Vince, HBK & Hebner.
