Loved this event, loved it!

What a Main Event, one of the best fights of the year, both guys surprised me to.

Nate Marquardt is great for this sport to, to gain major acceptance acts like his are needed, he saw Maia was done and opted not to hit him again, a lot of fighters wouldn't of been so decent.

Leben vs. Rosholt was a lot of fun and Thiago is back on track now to.

And like I said, Duffee is a friggin' monster!

Only stinker was the opening match...

Im sorry Hammy but what Marquardt did was STUPID

What if the ref hadn't stopped the fight and Maia had recovered?

U finish your opponent till the ref stops u. He didn't have to blast him, but I still would've done some light hammer fists to be 100 percent sure of the victory.
Because he KNEW he was done, like most guys do who often pound on for the sake of it, even when the guys are totally straigtened out and out cold.

Exactly! Like Dan Henderson said about the Bisping KO, he knew he was out already off the first shot but hit him again for his own enjoyment.

Now I'm not a huge Marquardt fan (tbh I used to think he was a prick) but what he did was top notch in my book. It being Demian "I'll beat you but I won't hurt you" Maia might have helped aswell.

Anyway great show, all but the opener was entertaining. Vera just bores me to death now, hes lost the one thing he was liked for, his explosiveness.

Todd Duffee looked stacked and I'll very much be looking forward to seeing him again. He seemed like a class act aswell with his interview and when he talked into the camera after the fight. Scary thing is he is only 23!!!

Fantastic main-event, seems to be the case more often than not this year. Fantastic to see Nog back to his best and its obvious how much of an impact the knee injury & staph infection had on him for the Mir fight, which sort of marrs Mir's victory somewhat.

Randy still looks good these days and has kept in shape amazingly for a man of 46, this fight was the first of a new 6 fight deal with UFC which means by the time that contract ends he will be 49! Which is just amazing! Personally I think he should move down to Light-heavyweight, he just fits in better and the challenges will be more maintainable....plus we all wanna see Anderson Silva vs Randy at LHW.

I'm finding it hard to choose which fight will be FOTY: Sanchez/Guida, Franklin/Wanderlei & Couture/Nog were just great fights and we've still got around 8 shows left this year!
