Horrific match selection. ONE match from that 83-86 era is unacceptable and just pure laziness on the part of WWE. Mcmahon really seems to despise that era of NWA, probably because it was a superior product at the time.

Greg Valentine vs Roddy Piper dog collar match Starrcade 83

Andersons vs Thunderbolt Patterson and Ragin Bull

Ric Flair vs Harley Race Starrcade 83

Rock n Roll Express vs Russians Starrcade 85

Magnum TA vs Tully Blanchard I Quit match

Road Warriors vs Magnum TA and Ron Garvin Crockett Cup Finals

Road Warriors vs Midnight Express scaffold match

Dusty vs Luger cage match

You cant truly pay tribute to that era without including all or most of that.
As I said to Atari, a lot of those matches are on other DVDs and WWE are not known for wanting to repeat match selections.

The Dog Collar match is on the Piper DVD.  The Harley Race vs. Flair bout is on the 1st Flair DVD.  The Scaffold match and the bout with Magnum TA and Ronnie Garvin are on the Road Warriors DVD.  The Dusty vs. Luger Cage match is on the Dusty DVD.  The Magnum TA vs. Tully Blanchard I Quit match was in a Steel Cage wasn't it?  Because I'm sure I have seen that on the Steel Cage Matches DVD.

As someone who collects A LOT of WWE DVDs I'd be furious if they repeated match selections, everytime I get a WWE DVD I want the matches on it to be different, I'm actually thankful most of the matches you mentioned I have I might watch them later today, refresh my memory, the only one of those DVDs I don't have is the Dusty one.

Edit: Just checking the Starrcade DVD listing and 3 or 4 of those matches are repeated on that, given it was only released a few months since they definately wouldn't want to repeat themselves, they were only repeated on this because it was released as the "20 Greatest Matches of Starrcade" and voted on by people on wwe.com so they were forced to put the most popular ones on.
