Hammy's Right DX are
**** and no where near what they were. DX in its prime was contraversial, Funny, Entertaining and exciting. Now its kinda entertaining at times and thats it.
Orton may be boring in ring sometimes but thats part of his heel work. Orton is brilliant and will be around for many years and some of his work in the past year has been excellent and if handled properly the Legacy explosion could be one of the best moments in recent years. And lets be honest Orton has got Ted & Cody well over in terms of their position in the company.
Batista is
**** poor. I'd take Orton & Cena over him anyday of the week. I quite like Cena (i know thats not "cool") he works hard and his matches are never aweful IMO.
The split allows so much more talent on TV. Guys like Swagger, Ziggler, Morrison, Evan Bourne, Miz & Kofi wouldn't get a look in if you ended the split. It would make WWE even more stale than it is now IMO.
For me its giving guys meaningful feuds on TV. Back in '99 even pointless openers had a storyline. Nowadays you might get 5 feuds accross all 3 brands and then one or two matches thrown in for fun.
But i still maintain that rehashing material w/ a fresh twist like getting Bret back up against Vince would get you ratings and in the process maybe.... just maybe create a couple of new stars.
