You're old school enough to know that's not how it works. While a suspension of disbelief is required, it's a fine line between entertainment and insulting peoples intelligence. Hogan wiping the floor with TNA talent will turn viewers off in droves. Mark my words. It will also cause talent that's getting buried to leave when their contracts are up.

I predict an initial ratings boost, and if Hogan wrestles and actually starts beating this company's main talent, ratings will plummet and never recover. If it gets low enough, Mcmahon will walk in and buy the company just so he can kill it.

You TNA fans should be careful what you wish for....
