To be fair, he wasn't actually trying to hurt anyone. I think most wrestling moves would result in severe injury/death if they were actually done properly. I think having your face forcefully driven into someone else's shoulder would be pretty damn painful. :P

If anything, to newer fans, it's the older moves which look tame nowadays. Strange to think that moves such as the DDT, Sleeper, Spinebuster, Leg Drop etc. have gone from being match-enders to regular, everyday moves....



On topic, the Pedigree, as HHH used to do it, looked pretty cool. That was when he kept his opponent's arms locked, rather than letting go before they hit the mat.
