Austin doesn't give two **** about Goldberg. Goldberg is barely a blip on wrestling's radar. The only time that match would have meant anything is 1998-99.  Even IF the match was scheduled, probably around 99.9% of wrestling fans wouldn't even consider it a dream match. This current generation would have to be given a fresh history lesson on the WCW/WWF Monday Night Wars and be told that Goldberg was WCW's equivalent to Austin for a few months.

It's just not worth the money to resign him and waste airtime on history lessons just to have a 5 or 10 minute match on a PPV.

In hindsight, he should consider himself lucky that Vince even bothered to sign him in the first place.
