Sheamus has won me over.

I wasn't anywhere near sold on him as a Main Eventer at first but I think he's pretty damn good now.  He was great at the start of RAW, he had the crowd in the palm of his hand, they ate it up, thinking he was doing the right thing only for him to swerve them.  Both his matches and talking have improved a lot.  I'm hoping for a good length reign.

LOL......there is something about Sheamus, that the WWE likes and to be honest he is an awesome in ring performer!

Replace WWE with HHH and you have your answer.

Sheamus has won me over.

Me too..... I wondered if he would ever be champion again after he dropped it the first time.... but i'm happy he got it back.

It would be easy to keep the belt on Cena or give it to Orton or Edge. But buildiing guys up is vital to WWE.

Taker is on his last legs.... HHH is injured alot etc etc.

He has kinda won me over.  He isn't that bad in the ring and his promo skill has been improving.  It still freaks me out how pale his skin is though.

I just like that he is different.

Wrestling is full of guys who look the part. Sheamus looks out of place, but is strong and quick for a guy his size. His matches will never be 10 out of 10 but his matches are never aweful either.

Sheamus, Drew, Miz, Swagger, Morrison, Kofi, Ted Dibiase, Cody Rhodes and the NXT guys etc are all important to WWE and over the next 3 years they will be sink or swim.

There is something refreshing about creating new champions.... and not just recylcing. If it doesn't work you have guys like Edge, Taker, Cena, Orton & HHH to back them up

Sheamus is not that bad. His character has gotten better, and he continues to improve. His 1st reign was bad, but that is WWE's fault. His wrestling is not bad, but its not good. He worked very well with HHH though, and that says something.

It sucks that Sheamus has won it twice while some haven't won the belt once, but this is a different era of WWE. Back then a lot of the good wrestlers never got the title. This list could be huge, but that is not the point. If those wrestlers were in their prime today, and they wrestled, then they probably would have been champion.

Hopefully he retains against Cena, at times he seems to be moving towards being a bit of a tweener.

I can understand how you might think other guys from back in the 80s/90s may have deserved the title too, but back in the day, it was a lot different to how it is now. Now, you have weekly TV shows and monthly PPVs with the champ appearing on pretty much all of them, so I think they try and give more people chances with the top title(s) to keep things somewhat fresh. Though I'd like to see someone (other than Cena) have a fairly long reign at the top.

And I like Sheamus's character. He's something different from the others on the roster. 8)

Also got to remember Hogan had that title on his ass for 3 years. Not too mention he never wanted to put the Ultimate Warrior over, Hogan should of passed it around so someone like Mr Perfect could of gotten his dues. With 2 world titles, 4 Raws, 4 SD, 4 NXT, 4 Superstars, 1 PPV that is 17 days a month where WWE has matches on TV. Back in the 80's you had wresters taking on jobbers on saturday mornings and you knew the jobber never had a chance. (Gosh I miss the jobbers, Horowitz, Brooklyn Brawler, Danny Davis, etc) so the champs NEVER wrestled on there and they had what like 4 PPVS a year maybe 6 in the late 80's, so WWE has alot more time to pass the title around. In the next 2 years you are going to see people like Ted Jr, Cody, Kofi, MIZ 2 of them 4 will be world champions within 2 years.

I'm not sure about his booking the last few days.  I thought at Money In The Bank he looked far too weak.  Cena had him tapping easily, then he only escaped the cage sooner since he was only been attacked by one Nexus member.  Then on RAW, great segment with Miz but after beating Evan Bourne, even with a weapon Miz just seemed to crush him too easily for my liking, I don't know, I just think he needs more dominance at some point, a cleanish win over a fairly top name, at the moment he seems to be spending most of his time running.
