The Daily Star has a new article online featuring quotes from Jeff Hardy. Below are the highlights:

"I'm not going to give WWE their props for the way they've dealt with Matt. He is such a giving talent, ready to do anything for them, and he's been given the run-around. They've treated him like s---. "

"I think if he came here, you would see the happiest, most dangerous and exciting Matt Hardy you've ever seen. I hope that they let him leave and he shows up here any day now."

I like Matt Hardy, always been a fan if his workrate and matches.

However he was never going to get a World Title run, and the suggestion that he deserves it for years of service is IMO a stupid argument.

The truth of the matter is that i'm sorry to see him go, but he will hardly leave a void thats unfillable. He's not Marty Jannety, but he was always the brother rather than the star and TNA can't offer him their World Title IMO, so not sure where he goes from here.

I'm sure he'll get more creative flexibility somewhere else and i really do hope TNA picks him up and uses him wisely, but my fear is that within 18 months in TNA he'll be teaming with his brother, which is probably where i have my best memories of Matt Hardy!

No it isn't. Why do you think KANE got his run now? He hasn't sold anywhere close to the merch that Matt Hardy does. That is a huge factor in who gets the belt. Matt is always over at live events. He'd sometimes get the 3rd biggest pop behind Taker and Rey and that is when he was stuck in some shitty feud.

If you ask me, Matt was always the better Hardy than Jeff and I know I am going to get called all kind of names for what I just said with this comment. I think the only reason why Matt never got his push is because he has a boring personality plain and simple, and I know I am going to get yelled over this one too but the truth is the truth plain and simple!

Kane got his push because he is the storyline brother of the undertaker and with bringing Paul Bearer back it made sense. Plus he has already been Champion and been involved in World title pictures.

Matt Hardy was decent as a heel, but you could not run your company based on him as a champion IMO.

RVD was the biggest pop at every ECW show, but needed to wait until the ECW-WWE years to be World Champion. Pops and selling Merch is great, but thats doesn't mean your a credible champion.

Now im not saying that every World Champ has been credible, but IMO Matt Hardy would not have been credible. He was fantastic at what he did, warm up the crowd.

History is littered with Quality workers who never got their World Title.

I don't understand why they crave it so much. Why would you want a pity world title run?

He was the more talented one, technically a much better wrestler, but his brothers daredevil ways and you could say "It" factor got Jeff more over, but both guys were way over, he was over enough for a big run, but I guess management didn't have faith in him pulling it off.  You can be way over as midcarder but it doesn't mean that support will remain if you become World Champ, if people struggle to take you seriously in that role.  Remember how much Rey Mysterio got booed? (Although he was booked like crap...)  As for his personality, he was good as "V1".

Arda Ocal and Jimmy Korderas on Right After Wrestling recently asked former WWE star Shane ?Hurricane? Helms to comment on Matt Hardy?s release.

?Me and Matt (Hardy) talk on a daily basis,? Helms said. ?He?s doing really good and he?s in a good spot in his life.

?He was just ready to go, like myself when I left (WWE), I was just ready to go. I didn?t realize how ready I was to leave until about a month after my release. Back to Matt, he?s in a happier place, he?s got a ton of projects on the shelf, me and him will be doing a ton of stuff together as well.?

WWE officials discussed Matt Hardy?s departure weeks before even granting him the release on October 14th. Some in the company wanted Hardy gone as soon as he asked for it but certain things slowed down that process. One of the main things was the feeling that releasing Matt would keep Jeff Hardy in TNA longer than his current deal calls for.

There was also a feeling that with Linda McMahon?s Senate campaign going on, they didn?t need a talent out there doing anything he could to get released. There was a bit of heat on Hardy for posting a video online of an unmasked Rey Mysterio in the background eating lunch.

People close to Hardy say that is is definitely headed to TNA and those in the company expect him to come in as well. There is already some negative attention on Hardy within the TNA locker room regarding all his odd videos that have been posted online.

There has already been talk within TNA of doing a Hardy Boys vs. Beer Money feud that would elevate Robert Roode and James Storm. Apparently Matt and Jeff are very aware of this possible feud also.
