Latelly it has been discussed time and time again about how short title reigns are and what it truelly means to be a 13 Time world Champion Like HHH is. Being a Numbers guy like I am (Im an Auditor in the Real world) I decided to take the time and break down Each of the Major "World Titles" and simply rank the champions based on time holding the belt instead of actual times winning the Belt. I decided to do this because I don't care if Someone like Ric Flair is a 14 time world Champion because to me it means he lost the title 14 times also. Using WIKI and WWE I am going to break down the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

There has only been 15 Men in the WWE to Carry this Title.

Here’s the List of the 15 Men in the World to Hold the the Belt Rank By ADR (Average Days a Rank, because I don’t think it’s the number of times that matter as much as how long the reigns are) In my opinion the average amount of days per reign summons up how great a champion you are.

Chris Benoit (1 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 154 Days ADR 154
Bastita ( 4 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 507 Days ADR 127
Booker T (1 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 126 Days ADR 126
Triple H McMahon (5 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 616 Days ADR 123
Rey Mysterio (1 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 112 Days ADR 112
Goldberg (1 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 84 Days ADR 84
Kurt Angle (1 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 82 Days ADR 82
Great Khali (1 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 61 Days ADR 61
Edge ( 5 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 295 Days ADR 59
Cm Punk (2 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 118 Days ADR 59
John Cena (2 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 105 Days ADR 53
Chris Jericho (2 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 69 Days ADR 35
Undertaker (2 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 67 Days ADR 34
HBK (1 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 28 Days ADR 28
RKO (1 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 28 Days ADR 28
Jeff Hardy (2 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion) 3+ Days Current Champ ADR 2+

Theres the List for WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONS REIGNS. Big Thing that sticks out to me is the Undertaker being the company man he is only Held the belt Twice for 67 Days yet Rey Mysterio had one reign of 112 Days? I do like how Jeff Hardy’s 2 Combined reigns are so far 3+ days.

Looking at Edge he is a 5 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. For 295 Days which is roughly 80% of a year. So its hard to sell him as a 9 Time world Champion when his 5 World Titles are less then 1 year, with his average reign being 59 Days.
