After all this speculation, I'm betting that his actual partner won't turn out to be as interesting....
Aye, it'll most likely be Kane. Although Jericho has got a good sense of humour so when he said he's "EVIL" it could well be Yoshi Tatsu. Besides, have you ever heard more menacing theme music in your life?

I'm in utter shock I love the results of this show but I can't believe all three of my teammates carried their titles home. I'm shocked.  I got killed in the prediction game because I couldn't believe the results

Random thoughts:

- I was surprised at Christian and Hardy winning last night. Thought Punk might have been in for a longer reign. I was expecting Punk to win by some devious means. And Dreamer losing cleanly in Philly?? 0_o

After all this speculation, I'm betting that his actual partner won't turn out to be as interesting....

- I think I should get extra points in the predictions game for that. Big Show was a bit of an anti-climax. :P

- Was it just me, or was Michelle McCool VS. Melina quite.... intense for a women's match??

- And perhaps this was also just me, but the crowd seemed dead for most of the show. I'm sure when HHH and Cena for having that staredown in the middle of the match, they were expecting the crowd to be going nuts but they just kind of watched...

Speaking of HHH, he turns 40 today :o

Thought HHH was older, wow.

As for dreamer losing cleanly in Philly, c'mon that's Vince's patented ECW hate

Not a good event really.

Big Show is fat we all know that, but wearing black is subtle, it masks it a bit.  His new BLUE ring attire makes his fat bastardness more obvious, and the lower straps just make him look like he has breasts, complete with that stupid goatee, he looks horrendous and even before all the changes, him as the "Surprise", sucks.  Maybe its because I'm still watching WCW 1996 and seeing how good the guy once was.  As for the match, it was alright, but the sight of Dibiase tapping like that, really wasn't good, they got made to look worthless not priceless.  What I did like was the backstage interview after, saying they aren't friends, its just business and they are going to be the most dominate tag team ever better than The Hart Foundation, The British Bulldogs etc.  At least they gave off the impression these belts mean a damn.  The Legacy promo later was awful though, "Well its all good Orton won and thats what really matters, we'll win those tag belts eventually, etc.", it just made them look like stupid lackeys.

The Christian win was alright, another meh match really, I wouldn't call it bad but I wouldn't care if I never saw it again either.

I liked the US Title match, I thought it was fun with plenty of nice little spots, Swagger looked really good when he was dominating and Kofi winning didn't do anyone any harm and it benefits the belt, a nice little reign is all good.

The Women's Title match did seem intense as BlowUp said, it was ok by WWE Women's standards but the ending seemed odd, almost botched, just seemed a bit random.

Seeing the WWE Title match this low down was a surprise, you thought it either meant, no title switch or a storyline angle will occur post match that will carry on through the rest of the show.  I wasn't too bothered who won, I've been that uninterested by the stuff on RAW but I found this quite enjoyable until the end, the double tap and the ref's inability to stop the match followed by The Legacy run in just seemed like a cheap ending.  And I'm sure we had a double tap before and the bell was rung and the title vacated.  Wasn't it Benoit and Edge to Triple H or something?

Diva's Title, I must say I like Maryse she is hot and has improved a lot, but still, 2 women's matches on one card is too much, the crowd was completely dead for this, "Conway Pop" kid of dead, clearly burned out from the match before, and not really caring.

The lifelessness carried through to the next bout, Dolph Ziggler getting over was clearly the main task for the commentators, they sold how close he was coming and how well he was doing to death, the match just didn't work for me, I was surprised but I didn't find they gelled that well together which surprised me.  I did like some spots though, Ziggler being tripped by Mysterio and nearly taking off into orbit was cool and Ziggler throwing Mysterio into the announce table did look really devasting as did the gut buster off the top.

The Main Event was another let down as I thought these guys would steal the show and the final moments just didn't work for me, maybe the commentators killed it, I don't know.  When Punk hit the GTS, Grisham going on about how the match was over really told you it wasn't, when they do the, it must be it, its over, he can't kick out routine you know its the exact opposite.  And for Hardy to just chase Punk down when he was trying to leave, drag him back and quickly hit his finishers it just seemed a bit meh, not the best of finishing sequences thats for sure.

I read a report that Vince wasn't happy with the way the Tag Team Title match went.

Too many restholds by Ziggler sort of killed the pacing of the match.  The pace should have been quicker yet we got a slow plodding match.  The crowd was dead for this one too.

I thought Ziggler showed great energy and seemed to be pushing the matches tempo a bit. The rest holds are always in a heels repertoire, used to slow down the match. But to me it was Rey who really showed no energy in the match. It seemed he wasn't into it at all last night while at the same time I thought Ziggler did good.

Regarding the CM Punk vs. Hardy match. I thought it was good not great. But I may have some bias towards it because I really like CM Punk. And what their doing with him now is the same thing they did with him in Ring Of Honor several years ago. I loved that character and I like the way hes going with it. To turn Punk full on heel he almost had to lose the match cleanly to hardy. Its just a shame because he was so Jericho like, in a good way, with his cockiness throughout the match. I loved the i got face paint on me line during the match.  :hihi: And also really liked Punks promo at the beginning of the PPV. I am a fan of CM Punk and have been for a long time so I hope this is a step in the right direction. A step that makes his character a full on heel. But the kind some of the crowd will cheer for just like they did for him in ring of honor several years ago.  :smoking:
Johnny Nitro or John Morrison or whatever name he wants to go by SUCKS!

I am in favor of CENA FREE WRESTLING!!

I miss HBK and Edge!
