TV Elite

Ok whos the elite in TV these days? I recently read that Charlie Sheen is the worlds best paid TV actor, getting paid around 12 million a season of Two and A Half Men. It got me thinking of the best Actors and Actresses on TV at present.

In terms of Actors i have to say that Jeremy Piven as Ari Gold (Entourage) and Michael C Hall as Dexter (Dexter) definatly are my favourites although Alexander Skarsgård of True Blood has to get an honorable mention.

Mary Louise Parker as Nancy Botwin (Weeds), Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood), Madeline Zima as Mia Cross (Californication), Anna Hutchinson as Alison Dine (Underbelly) & Sarah Chalke in both Scrubs and How I met Your Mother are all incredible in their roles.

Anyone else have anyone different?
This is how it works, You're young until you're not
You love until you don't, You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry, You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe, Until their dying breath

I'd have to mention Michael Emerson who plays Benjamin Linus on Lost. He's scarily good at times and has this great way of making the most bizarre plotlines seem acceptable and meaningful.

Monty Sopp who plays Kip James on TNA Impact!  :DX:

The Mentalist has become a big hit, both in the UK (Mentalist Night this evening) and stateside, I'd say thanks to the great Simon Baker, his stock has definately gone up.

Regarding Simon Baker, I liked him in the last show he did for cbs--the short lived Smith.   Hammy (or those who have watched the show) have they started about revealing who Big Red is or was that just in the series premiere?  I watched a few episodes of this and while it was good I got kinda bored.  Oh yeah, the brunette in that show is hot (not Robin Tunney).
