As much as i love vintage Hogan the man is 56 years old with more dodgy parts than a Lada. Bringing him in might make a few more people tune in, but bringing in some one of that age, with the history of backstage politics may well be a bad move for TNA in the long run. Him coming in for a short time and really doing a job for some of the younger guys - AJ perhaps would be worth it. However it ruins the companies credibility if he would be going against the main guy in the company in a big fued and giving him a run for his money at that age and in that state of health. I mean i personally feel that all of the MEM bar Joe are too old and should leave, put Booker T in some kind of role where hes on the mic alot. Hogan's even older - wrestling fans have seen him week in week out since 1983. It is time to finally move on from rock n wrestling and build TNA's new guys so promotions dont have to keep bringing back stars of 20 years ago due to lack of new drawing power.

I think the theory is you want a name like him to get people to watch...

...Then you hit them with the new guys.

When I first started watching them in their early days it was to see Double J, Roadogg, K-Kwik etc.

Then I was blown away by AJ Styles, America's Most Wanted, Team Canada, Triple X and Matt Bentley.

So people tune in for Hogan and then see the new guys they ain't heard of, and well thats the theory.

I understand that, and as i said, if he came in a did a really good job for a TNA homegrown like AJ then left then that would be acceptable. But looking at Hogans past my bet is he'll want to go up against the champion and have a close run fued. If this did happen it would harm the credibility of TNA, a 56 year old man that older wrestling fans know is well past his prime and newer fans regard as an old star from years ago going toe to toe with your champion is damaging to that champions crediblity and the crediblity of the company. Especially the credibilty of a company built up on being more wrestling based and athletically superior to the WWE's more entertainment style. If hes willing to come in, stay away from the title and build younger guys then great bring him in, it'll be great, but i cant see that  happening.

To be honest I can't see him signing anyway, most reports point out how he only pretends to be interested so WWE throw him an offer...

I think Hogan is changed though. I think he could really help TNA and I don't think he is interested in holding down talent.

I think Hogan gets a bad rap sometimes. He did put Goldberg over CLEAN to really elevate him. Its just, Hogan isn't gonna lose to Billy **** Kidman, that would just be ridiculous

He doesn't mind putting over people he feels deserve it but he isn't gonna job just to job.

If Hogan joined - how would u like him used?

He would need to be putting over someone - who?

Morgan? Hernandez?

Would it backfire on them if they put him against Styles?

I dont see where Hogan would 'fit'

Having him in MEM, heck if they re-built Joe properly he could put him over ala Goldberg.

Hogan would have to have a defined role

Hell, I say bring him in as someone who BOUGHT out Jeff Jarrett

And have him and foley in the GM kind of thing... And slowly make it "is he on the MEM" side or not

Everyone will assume he is but have it not so.

U could do the whole angle where Hogan is the guest ref and Angle accidentally knocks him out and then it kind of goes and goes from there culminating in an Angle/Hogan feud.

After that, u could have them working together all along or keep Hogan face.

I.Just think its a marketing ployfor more money from wwe. I can't see hogan going to tna and ruining any relationship with vince.

If TNA could afford hogan he would be world champion within 3 months. He will want to be the lead major world champion star.
