HBK & HHH not liked by the Locker Room
« on: October 15, 2009, 06:13:08 pm »
source: www.pwtorch.com

Among some locker room circles, both Triple H and Shawn Michaels are two of the least popular wrestlers these days. Even those who appear on SmackDown and have minimal exposure to them feel as though they are abusing their power and standing in the way of WWE elevating new stars.

The overwhelming sentiment among those in the company is that Raw's "no man's land" in the sense there are no full-fledged pushes to be had as a result of the strong influence of Hunter and Michaels, as well as Randy Orton and John Cena. Many feel if even one of these main event performers dislikes you enough to badmouth you to management, you won't be getting a push.

C'mon.... this is the worst kept secret............. EEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR.

Lets face it with HBK, Cena, HHH & Orton RAW is gonna be similar for a while.... especially if they continue with this ridiculous D-X thing they do every week

So if Triple H dislikes you, you aren't getting pushed, bah, thats been true for years and is common sense, son-in law, husband of heir to the throne and all that.

Next people will be complaining that WWE is no man's land and if The Mcmahons don't like you, then you don't get a push, shocker!  :o

I always felt this was just bullshit from bitter **** wrestlers who couldnt face the facts that they just sucked.

Kofi Kingston is entertaining but could he really carry WWE? NO

Do we really know that though?

Look at the Attitude Era stars.

Then turn back the clock and you have:

The Ringmaster
Hunter Hearst Helmsley
Mean Mark Callous
Dr. Isaac Yankem/Fake Diesel
Rocky Maivia
Rockabilly
Double J Jesse James
1-2-3 Kid
Vince Mcmahon
(Commentator)

^ Back when those people were under those guises, nobody had faith in there wrestling, promo skills, anything, yet they had the talent in there.

Turn Kofi into a dope smoking/heel drug dealer and he could become an overnight success  :smoking:

The Ringmaster

Are you sure...?

I'm pretty sure he was pushed during his spell in WCW, he had several good matches with "Sting" and "Steamboat" ect...

I also from what I read and saw, thought X-Pac had a much greater push during the 1-2-3 Kid years.

He was facing Bret Hart back then, in the "Attitude Era" he was facing Shane McMahon.

Shane's the boss' son, feuding with him is hardly low profile, I'd say his re-debut through to Mania 15 he was the most over he has ever been.

And Austin in 1998 was on another level popularity and character wise.

The point is, the people to headline/save/push the company to the top may very well be on the current roster in medicore gimmicks/angles.

John Morrison deserves the belt now

I agree with Hammy. People who you might think couldn't carry a company could come out of nowhere and be HUGE!!!

I can stand HHH & HBK individually but as D-X recently i've found them tiresome to the point that i wish they'd feud, switch brands, get injured, retire.... anything to save me from them.

People talk about Orton being boring on the Mic.... but Face HHH is horrible IMO. HBK is always brilliant on the Mic but to me seems to almost take a back seat in D-X to HHH. To me HBK looks as bored doing the D-X routine.

Now behind the scenes we know that they are both Dicks, thats not a secret. They use their status to try and get what they want untill someone with a bigger status insists on something.

They will promote their friends before talent that potentially will replace them. Batista, XPac, Nash are all examples of this.
