Ultimate Warrior a strong possiblity for the Hall of Fame 2010?
« on: November 11, 2009, 01:10:03 pm »
The Ultimate Warrior is being considered for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2010, according to the latest issue of the Figure Four Newsletter. The rocky relationship between Warrior and Vince McMahon is said to be in better shape than its been in many years and there’s a “strong possibility” we’ll see WWE extend the offer.

There are a number of factors that contributing to Warrior Hall of Fame buzz. Warrior lives in Phoenix, Arizona – the site of WrestleMania XXVI. WrestleMania XXVI will be the 20th anniversary of Warrior’s epic victory over Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI and it’s no secret that Hulk Hogan’s not on the best terms with Vince McMahon these days. A lawsuit Warrior filed against WWE years ago was recently settled and many have noticed that Warrior has been featured on WWE.com quite frequently in recent months.

The UK Sun has picked up on the story and posted some quotes from an interview they conducted with Warrior back in 2004. Warrior had some harsh words for Vince McMahon at the time, saying that whenever a WWE superstar comes back to Vince, he uses them and totally eats them up. “That’s the way he operates, and there’s just no way I can go back to the WWE,” Warrior told the Sun. “Especially with the creative direction of cultural degeneration they’ve been on in the last five or six years. It’s not an easy thing for me to say that I’ll never go back — because I do miss the money, success and thrill of the business — but that’s the truth.”

After all thats been said over the years, including the "Self-Destruction" DVD, this would be quite the turnaround, it'd certainly be very interesting, they may well have to edit his speech (a lot), he does have a tendancy to go into business for himself and just rant and rave.
