Obviously I don't mean at the same time, that would be a tweener of sorts

Point is, which guys only thrive in one role and have never gotten over as both.
Randy Orton springs to mind straight away. His face turn was a complete mess, so much so they haven't even tried since, one of the main reasons being, the guy is naturally unlikeable, his character was basically the same when he turned, and the basis was his other "Heel" friends turned on him, its not like he even decided to do the good deed and turn on them.
MVP and
John Morrison also come to mind, the guys are nowhere near as over as they were as heels and the main reason is their characters are essentially the same (aside from MVP's I did my time in prison and am a better person for it). MVP and Morrison are arrogant, cocky, all about fancy clothers, being rich and all that, it works as a heel, but as a face, the question is, are these guys incapable of being good faces or is it simply
WWE's fault for not tweaking the characters enough?
