Funny read about TNA's recent face/heel turns & Storylines! Can you keep up?

I didn't watch TNA last night, but I am just reading the report now.

Can we please keep track of all the lame plot-devices they use on this f***ing show?

People turning face, people turning heel, people being fired, people coming back, worked shoots and endless number one contender contests. The best example is of course Foley:

Arrived as a face
Won title and turned heel
Lost title and turned face
Turned heel on Abyss
Turned face on Abyss
Potentially turning heel in the Hogan feud.

So, I'm going to try and keep up with all these repetitive unoriginal plot devices in 2010.

Heel/Face turns
Team 3D
-Despite turning heel at the end of 2009, act as faces on Jan 14th against Nasty Boys.

Bobby Lashely
-Turns heel on TNA on Jan 4th
-Turns face by apologizing on Jan 21st

AJ Styles
-Turns heel at Genesis

Christopher Daniels
-Enters 2010 as a heel, cuts a face promo at Genesis but insists the crowd "shut up" in an attempt to remain a heel.

Ken Anderson
-Face promo at Genesis
-Turns heel by cheating at Genesis

Eric Bischoff
-Arrives face
-Fires Mick Foley (a face) on Jan 21st and continues to antagonise him on Jan 28th

Hulk Hogan
-Apparently screws Kurt Angle (a face) on Jan 21st
-Apparently didn't on Jan 28th

Firings/Hirings
Bobby Lashely
-Wants to quit on Jan 4th
-Wants to stay on Jan 21st
-Gets fired on Jan 28th

Kurt Angle
-Says he'll quit on Jan 28th
-Shows up following week. Threatened with being fired if he spits in Hogan's face again.

The Band
-Shows up looking for work on Jan 4th
-Two weeks appearing on Impact, still without jobs.
-Booked on a PPV without a contract
-Asked to earn their keep on Jan 21st, but thrown out of the building before they could.
-Back on Jan 28th. No explanation. Thrown out again, promise to return.

Mick Foley
-Fired on Jan 21st
-Returns without explanation on Jan 28th

Earl Hebner
-Suspended on Jan 28th

Number one Contenderships
-Samoa Joe enters 2010 with a number one contender briefcase.
-Bobby Lashely enters 2010 with a title shot from the Thanksgiving tournament.
-Tournament to determine number one contender begins on Jan 28th.

Worked Shoots
-Scott Hall punches a fan at Genesis
-Screwjob finish on Jan 21st.

Those are the major ones I think. Bare in mind... this is all within four weeks... we are four weeks into this year and already thats what we got.

The #1 Contender thing is a bit strange.  I think the theory is because Lashley refused to work/tried to quit, he lost the right.

Samoa Joe isn't a #1 contender, he can cash in any time, he could wait months, they can't wait for that.

A lot of these quick turns, like Team 3D are because new stars have come in and they've changed to fit the feuds.  Back when they turned heel they hardly knew they'd be fighting Nasty Boys a few months later.

Foley's just Foley, his character is all over the place by nature.

For me, TNA Jan 4th was the reboot and beginning of TNA.. I didn't watch the last 6 weeks cause I knew everything would change once Hogan and Bisch came in

Ratings are way up and I think what they are doing is great. I am very entertained.

It's as if Russo is involved somehow!

Amazingly Bischoff and Hogan criticise Russo's style and have 'replaced' it with the same thing but on acid!!
