As someone who's watched more WWE and WCW than anything else that probably does limit me in a sense.  One of the immediate ones that always comes to mind is Mankind vs. Undertaker from King of the Ring '98.  Mankind took some hellacious bumps and the site of him being able to put his tongue through his lip was a site to see.

Speaking of Mankind, his bout vs. The Rock at Royal Rumble '99 ticked the violence box, as evidenced by the behind the scenes shots on the docu film Beyond the Mat, The Rock may have gone too far with all those steel chair shots, right to the cranium.

Again, it's mostly WWE I've seen so I'd have to go for Orton/Foley at Backlash 2004. I believe it's the only time the fabled Bed O' Barbed Wire has made an appearance in WWE. Seeing Orton land back-first on the tacks was also pretty awesome (though probably not for him).

Agreed about the "I Quit" Match. It was only supposed to be 2 or 3 chair shots, and The Rock landed 10 if I remember correctly. Still one of my favourite matches though. 8)

And if you're talking about sheer amounts of blood, the way Vince McMahon was bleeding during the Buried Alive Match with Undertaker suggested he may have bladed just a wee bit much. :P

I've yet to watch the whole Sabu/Terry Funk Barbed Wire Match from ECW, only seen little bits on Youtube....

That deffinitely wasn't that violent...

I agree with the end of "Mankind vs. The Rock" I Quit Match and "Mankind vs. Undertaker" Hell In A Cell... especially the latter.

ECW had some sick stuff with the barbed wire... but the most violent matches I saw were from the "King Of The Death Match Tournament"... got it from HMV on DVD.

Pretty much everything...  It got so violent, that I thought Foley or Funk was going to get limbs cut off with a Sword.

I reccomend Hammy ect... Buy it just to see were Foley got his nickname from.

Seemed pretty violent to me.....

Pretty **** by WWE's standards anyway.

Sabu vs Terry Funk in a bared wire match in ECW, the ropes where replace with razor sharp barbed and Sabu right arm was caught up in it and rip the **** out of it and he had to get tape to hold it together and still finish the match. That was pretty nasty in my eyes but I have seen and been at some really nasty **** matches, I was at IWA Mid South and saw a four corner of pain match and not too mention The King of Deathmatches they hold every year that are pretty nasty!
