# 15 – TLC III May 24, 2001

I remember that one, a few days after Austin and Triple H lost the title to Jericho and Benoit (In a MOTY candidate on RAW *The same one Triple H tore his quadricep*), Austin orders Jericho and Benoit to defend the titles against the "The Dudley Boyz", "Edge & Christian" and "The Hardy Boyz".

The match was awesome, but they can't edit out Benoit. As recall, he also had a really good match against Austin around the same time on "SmackDown!"

I was surprised (pleasantly) by that inclusion too.  Since the incident he has been totally wiped.  Same goes for old Nitro, Smackdown, RAW episodes and PPVs on WWE 24/7.  Thankfully I've been getting the original broadcasts for my WCW watching, and he is a MASSIVE part of the IV Horseman and quality to watch.  I'll be the first to admit, it took me awhile to seperate Benoit the person from Benoit the wrestler but I can do it now, I wish WWE would, they don't need to focus on him, but editing him off shows is stupid to.  Speaking of stupid edits, they cut Michael Buffer off all the WCW PPVs on 24/7 to avoid paying him money, damn cheapskates!

WWE is in a bind with Benoit

...but erasing the past isnt the way, WWE just needs to be mature - what happened in the ring before that awful weekend is nothing to ashamed of.
