no Sequels and no Remakes 8)

POW Films are allowed, and so are Post-Vietnam's ;)

aslong as there is war involved and it came out in 1970+ it can work.

No film comes close to the brilliance of Apocalypse Now.


My other two choices were Full Metal Jacket and Saving Private Ryan, and I'll give an honorable mention to Born on the 4th of July.
