Eugene signed to a WWE Contract!
« on: July 16, 2009, 11:53:33 am »
WWE has signed former talent Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore to a deal. They had him take an extensive drug test including a hair sample to prove that he's clean. He was fired by WWE before for issues with painkillers. WWE wanted to bring back both Dinsmore and Rob Conway to help with some of the younger talents and add depth to the roster but Conway has another job now and turned them down.

They are having him work in FCW there is talk he might not be brought up and might be kept there to bring along the new talent, with the PG way of the product though I'd expect him to come up to the main roster.  Him and Festus seem like a dream team  :D

Heard about this a few days ago.

Dream team with Festus? God I hope not. Nick Dinsmore is one of the most underated wrestlers of the last last 10 years. Hopefully he gets brought up to the main roster. ECW perhaps. When was the last time we saw moves like 'Lady of the Lake?'  :D

I always hoped they would rip off The Usual Suspects when they turned him heel.

Having him coming down the ramp looking retarded and bouncing about as usual then he starts strolling, an evil grin comes over his face.  He gets in the ring and claims his real name is Nick Dinsmore, he has no mental problems, its been a con all along, to get sympathy from the fans and to get him onside and they all fell for it, or something along those lines.

With a PG WWE I can't see them pretending a guy was a faking retardism.  Bring him back as a hanicap but give him the crazy strength of a crazy retard and have festus and him as a comedy act. That would be good tv

Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore made his return to WWE last night at the SmackDown/ECW live event in Manchester, New Hampshire. Eugene wrestled Ricky Ortiz in the fourth match of the night. Eugene played the face and confused gimmick for the fans. Eugene got the roll-up on Ortiz for the win.

Eugene was released from WWE on September 1st of 2007 after reportedly receiving his third strike on violating WWE’s Wellness Policy.

If he is working house shows then a return to television might not be far off.

Shocking what kind of messages they're sending out there to their workers.

As for the gimmick, I find it ridiculously offensive and annoying.

I always believed they dropped the ball big time with Eugene. I would've had him do his retard thing and earn the trust of the world champ like he did.

Then, let there be some 4 way and Eugene in it to protect his friend the champ.

All of a sudden, Eugene turns heel, clobbers the champ and wins the title revealing he being retarded was just an act.

That would've been a great turn considering how over he was and how people believed he was retarded.

I happen to know Eugene from my days of working security for OVW and he was one the best talent I seen come through. He knows his stuff in the ring and it was sad when I heard he was let go over a drug problem, and I can understand why they let him because the WWE has a lot of problems with people dying from drugs in the past.

I would like to see the WWE bring him no as Eugene the mental challenge wrestler is not the answer maybe they should be him as Eugene the man who has the mind of a child or something. I just don't want to see Eugene the mental challenge wrestler no more, because the WWE is hold Eugene back from what he does best and that is wrestle.

I think a wrestling gimmick would work find for Eugene something to get away from the mentally challenge gimmick, have come back with that gimmick but do a 360 into something better because that gimmick stunk to the high heavens.
