True going by their standards

but let's have our own HOF.

In our HOF, does Goldberg deserve to be in the wrestling HOF?

Yes he had a massive impact on wrestling when he was in it

Yeah for a few years when WCW was THE promotion, when people said WCW, you thought nWo and Goldberg.  With a rumoured WCW Hall of Fame coming up, I think he'd be a fair choice.

Agreed i stayed loyal to WWE for the most part, but i used to flick over to see Goldberg's stupidly long entrance (in a good way), Spear and Jackhammer! Worth it!

I remember a match between Goldberg and Saturn and it was brilliant! But when Goldberg speared him, i thought Saturn was dead!

- Bill Goldberg wrote the following on Twitter in response to Triple H?s recent comments that he isn?t a good choice for the WWE Hall of Fame:

?I read HHH and HBK?s views on the #WWE HOF?.everyone is entitled to their own opinion. They do have a point if induction is based on tenure?

Of course this is WWE HOF and not Wrestling hall of fame right?

So, I'd say definitely NO, if we are going strictly by his stint in WWE.

But WWE treat it as a wrestling one.  Heck they've put people in who never even wrestled in WWE...

That is true also. I kinda look at Goldberg as the Ultimate Warrior. Both were amazingly popular thanks to a look and perfect gimmick/style, although neither had any staying power cause they couldn't wrestle their way out of a paper bag.

Goldberg ending Bret's career also def counts against him.

^ They did try to induct Ultimate Warrior the other year too.  Guys like him and Goldberg for the few years they were so over deserve it IMO, people say whenever someone mentions wrestling they say Hogan, Austin, Rock.... Well I find Ultimate Warrior is in the top 10 for guys people know, I'm not sure about Goldberg since in the UK WCW coverage was limited.

Also don't forget Goldberg and HHH's legit heat. goldberg's loud hatred of the wrestling business...

I think it will be tough. Atlanta is the perfect time though. would def boost some interest in people who use to love it.

oh yeah the Ultimate Warrior def is a HOFer. His match against Hogan at WM.......... **** V? or VI i forget, was one of the greatest WM matches of all time.

VI.

He's definately mellowing towards WWE, that tweet in the past would have involved telling Triple H to stick it.  Plus he agreed to that Rise and Fall of WCW DVD appearance.

I don't really like Goldberg but KOKO B WARE is in the "WWE HOF" Goldberg was a mega-star even if only for a few years. If they are doing a WCW themed HOF, he should go in in 2011.
