Ok we get it D, you don't like wwe.

I can agree with you in some points.  Point 1 where werestlers fight their ppv oppenet for 4 weeks before hand in tag matches, signles whatever.

I think they need to change that and have more jobbers to cover the weeks between ppvs so when they finally meet its something special and sells a ppv.

Also the kofi wanting to beat big show I can buy I just can't understand why someone like show wants to try for a midcard title.

I do like the ecw talent and think wwe is doing good bringing up talent through them.  I really think they should have all their fcw show up one or two at a time as jobbers so see new and future faces.

Orton HHH thing played out? Yeah it is I would love to see someone like swagger or mvp or christian win a #1 contender match and win the wwe belt and start a whole new fued.

Pop quiz for everyone...... What was the last WWE PPV that didn't have HHH, Orton, or Cena battling for the WWE title?

How many estblished ME guys does Raw have anyway?  HHH, Orton, Cena, HBK?  After that, I have no idea who they think can carry the reigns.  I wish they would just give HBK another title run at the very least it would lift the workrate in the matches and the promos wouldn't suck.  They should pull the trigger on the Orton-Dibiase Jr. feud.  It would give both guys something interesting to do and they could elevate Ted Jr. to main event status.

I'll be the first to admit I like skits, just the right kind, and with many its just personal taste, I mean heck I enjoy Cryme Tyme's "Word Up" w/ Slam Master J.

There's nothing wrong with that and I was thinking about some of the late 90s and early 2000s stuff with fondness.  Remember when UT tried to embalm Austin?  Funny stuff.  Or when Boss Man and Albert hid in a car to avoid a wrathful Big Show.

I think some of the skits in the past actually helped further a feud or developed a wrestlers character.  Mankind's visit  to Vinnie Mac in the hospital and the appearance of Mr. Socko.  Currently, I think they're just throwing junk at the wall and seeing what will pop a rating. Remember the Donald Trump buys raw angle from this summer?  What long lasting effect has it had on the product?  From last year (or 2007?) the Mchmahon had a bastard son angle.  They totally blew advancing another guy into the upper tier.  Instead, they went with Hornswaggle a novelty act who has  a limited ceiling and shelf life.

Don't worry about it, I complain about the current product more than you do.

There is nothing wrong with skits but when u consider how awesome SCSA and The Rock's skits were, compared to the **** skits we get now.....

Think about Cena and orton promos compared to Austin and The Rock............

When you care about something people always seem to think you hate that same thing

I love WWE - i hate what its become, and i only have any strong feelings at all because i know it can do better

The talent is there - its just wasted

As for skits - The Rock used to OWN the show, the whole show would succeed or fail largely on his appearence. His absurdly arrogant and disrespectful interviews where just fantastic entertainment - he'd destroy the self confidence of anyone who dared speak to him

...hell, i think an hour of The Rock talking would have still scored high on the ratings

I'm not sure if the stuff he came up with was written by him or not - but his ''rock'' concerts showed what a fantastic sense of timing and connection with the audience he had

You WANTED to see him - how many current guys do you really want to see?

Frankly if i was Vince i'd offer The Rock double whatever he's making for films - per year. He'd increase viewership by atleast 1 million a show, hell - he'd transform the company
A nobody's opinion on the world of cinema

With guys like the rock and Scsa, they would get an outline of points to hit and they filled in the rest.

The Rock came up with most of his stuff which is amazing

Austin came up with the 3:16, he came up with the "What?" thing. He was talking to Christian on his cell phone and got bad reception and kept asking him "what?" clicked in his head that it could be a huge thing and did it in the ring.

The rock's mic skills were good enough to make a brick wall sound good in a promo. He had the looks, the voice, and the in ring presence, quality finishing moves. I still think Cena 5 knuckle shuffle is ripped of of a peoples elbow.

Watch the first ten minutes, it'll show perfectly the limits of a PG environment

I mean take Lofton, Lofton seems to be "That 80s guy"
While true, I have watched some of each of these eras. While I haven't watched in years, my wrestling viewing used to happen in spurts. Did a blind buy of a PPV a few years ago(a rumble where some giant guy knocked about 10 or so people out), and it was the worst 50 bucks I ever spent. Last time I watched it on a weekly basis was in either 2002 0r 2003 when Triple H and HBK were feuding for the belt, and I ordered that PPV where they had a 2 out of 3 falls match. Also remember that Chamber match with Goldberg, Triple H, and a few others.

It just kept getting worse in quality, and apparently its even worse now, which should be impossible.  :hihi:

I still think Cena 5 knuckle shuffle is ripped of of a peoples elbow.
Yeah, and the peoples elbow is basically just a rip off but a slight improvement of the Boogie Woogie Man's elbow drop.

everything about Cena is a rip

His FU was a rip of Brock's F5 the name not the actual move which is essentially a **** body slam

Five knuckle shuffle, Kofi's leg drop move and MVP's ballin are all ripped from the people's elbow
