Best WWE characters buried or scrapped?
« on: October 10, 2009, 08:17:03 pm »
Lets face it - what WWE doesnt know about talent could fill atleast 49 states

So many have come and gone that WWE completely missed - Matt Morgan is a classic example.

Whats the one that bothered you?

Found these Sean O'Haire bits on another forum - how WWE messed this up is....well....

Sean O'Haire vignettes were some of the best EVER, they completely dropped the ball with him.

Also I'd add The Brian Kendrick word, is he did it to himself, but which every way you slice it, he had what seemed like a great character and ultimately went nowhere with it.

And while I'm at it, Billy Kidman, admittedly he was partially damaged goods when they got him, but they could have done more with him, his team and subsequent feud with Paul London was great while it lasted but it just seemed to vanish/filter out in no time.

I'd forgotten about Sean

His delivery is remarkable - he is the perfect tweener - face/heel, who knows? - but wouldnt it be intresting to see what the crowd thought?

This could be the perfect direction for a solo Jericho - imagine this version of Jericho vs CM Punk - Punk's clean living vs Jericho's 'i'm not saying anything you dont already know'...

Why can we get this stuff and (either) Vince cant....

Chuck Palumbo! In his last heel run when he snapped on Jamie Noble, they could have capitalized but alas screwed it up.

It was great, it almost seemed in many ways like creative, outsmarted themselves.

They had these vignettes, then he should up had him make Brian Kendrick streak which seemed odd, he was playing Devil's Advocate with things though, then they kind of stopped and thought, er, what do we do next?  They just didn't know where to take it after all these vignettes.

So they paired him with Roddy Piper as his lackey, showing little personality and none of this gimmick (aside from the look), then Piper went and got fired and it was curtains from there, such a shame, I always rate these vignettes has some of the best ever.

I'd argue they dropped the ball with Elijah Burke, great talker, solid wrestler, good to see somebody else nabbed him!
