MAJOR Name debuting in TNA (Spoilers)

After speaking with a high level source within TNA, I can now confirm that Ken "Mr. Kennedy" Anderson will be debuting with the company this week. Anderson will either debut at the Genesis PPV, as the surprise wrestler that Jeremy Borash previously tweeted about, or he will debut at the Impact tapings the night after. The intent right now is to have Anderson debut at the Genesis PPV, but if TNA decides to hold out, then he will debut at the Impact tapings on Monday. Either way, Anderson will debut with TNA within the next week.

I think Kennedy has potential to be a star but at the same time i don't think WWE would want him back so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

If i remember rightly he wasn't a particulary great guy backstage and was even considered dangerous in the ring.... so i guess we'll see how he goes.

He's a great talker, but aside from that, it'll be interesting to see how they book him, I could imagine marking out when he debuts then getting bored of him within a few weeks.

He was mid-upper midcard in WWE, that means by TNA standards he is a shoe in for the Main Event.  :P

Eventully yes but they will promise more IMO.

Couldn't really care less about Kennedy, Jeff Hardy and RVD now thats a real signing

Former WWE performer Ken Anderson (a/k/a Mr. Kennedy) is backstage in Orlando for tonight’s TNA Genesis pay-per-view and expected to debut during the show as the company’s teased “Major Superstar Acquisition.”

TNA officials have a plan in place for Abyss to lay out Bobby Lashley before their scheduled match tonight. He will then be replaced by the debuting Anderson.

Lashley is scheduled to fight for the Mixed martial arts promotion Strikeforce on Jan. 30, 2010 in Miami, hence the attack angle.

It’s been heavily speculated in recent weeks that Anderson would be joining TNA considering that he took part in Hulk Hogan’s “Hulkamania – Let The Battle Begin” tour this past November and a number of wrestlers who worked the Australian tour have since been brought in including Ric Flair, Orlando Jordan, Sean Morley, The Nasty Boys and Shannon Moore.
