Pinhead and Pennywise for me, its probably because I saw those when I was much younger but I found both quite disturbing, the majority of the rest I have seen at an older age so I wouldn't go as far as to say I found them scary.

Michael Myers and Jason

My brother and his friends throw one of the best spook shows and he always played Michael Myers. Perfect build etc looks just **** like him. authentic mask with the coveralls.

I have a really creepy basement and the door opens onto the street.

well, I was walking home from school one day and when I got right at the door, he jumped out in full Myers getup with a butcher knife

I ran like a motherfucker.

Leatherface and it shouldn't even be close. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the greatest films ever made, and its a travesty that it wasn't nominated for an Oscar. It is actually one of the only truly frightening films.

Jason....will never happen

Michael......will never happen

Freddy.....will never happen

Leatherface..... you are one wrong turn away from encountering a similar nightmare.

Now THAT is horror.
I have wined and dined with kings and queens, and I've slept in alleys and dined on pork and beans.

U know what, I do have to agree with this.

When i from Chattanooga to my hometown in Kentucky, i get on a 2 lane stretch of straight road in the middle of nowhere for like 40 miles. no gas stations, just a few scattered houses.

Last time I was going in, it was after midnight and It was jus tme and this big pickup truck behind me and I instantly thought of Leatherface!

i will say jason, but in totally seriousness, kane was really underrated, he did really good as a villain and i think would have made a great jason for the new movie
