Long story short, I've "come into" a large collection of Attitude era WWF programming * wink wink*

So in this thread I shall share little anecdotes and thoughts of the period that got me into pro-wrestling, ten plus years on.

Obviously, I'm now in my twenties now, and a totally different person to the young Scots lad who first saw this product, so I think it'll be interesting to see any changed reactions to memorable moments with that in mind.

#1 It's quite poignant seeing how popular D'Lo Brown is becoming (August into Sept '99) in the knowledge that a month on he will be involved in the Droz incident, and related or not, the wheels will fall off his career. They had the confidence to put both the IC and European belts on him, sure he lost them two weeks later to Jeff Jarrett, but hey.

Another note, the call J.R. made when D'Lo got the fall was really special.

"Brown has taken a big step here tonight, folks!"

I'd love to do this, just don't have the time, still on my Nitro journey and that's slowed (a lot).

D'lo was always a favourite back in the day, but to be honest, even as a double champion as a kid I never saw him as ever being more than a midcarder, not that that's a bad thing, he could have been a solid member of the card for years.

I'm expecting Billy Gunn updates  :D   :DX:
