I think it will be like Legacy and they will jump out weak links and add the strong guys coming out of NXT

I just do not see them doing that I think they are going to pit Season 1 against Season 2.
Hope not, only 50% of the Season 2 cast deserves to be on tv.

Well still I think it would make for some interesting television to see what happens against those two season, and do not be hating on Showtime!

Pretty much in agreement with most of the remarks here.  Mcgillicuty (or whaterver his name is--easier to just call him Perfect Jr) will get a push because WWE always pushes 2nd and 3rd generation wrestlers, unless you're a total jerk like Teddy Hart.  Kaval will fit in with the high flying crusierweight guys.  Harris is the brawler type that WWE likes to push.  I don't see the appeal of Alex Riley though.

Anybody watch the end where Cody Rhodes just started complaining at the end after Harris got eliminated?  My brother and I just started because it was so funny.  I think the new push and persona has worked well for him, considering that he was really bland when he was in Legacy.

The problem with the Nexus angle is..... it has to end and how do you end it?

Personally I think Barrett will eventually form a 4 man stable with Sheffield, Gabriel and Otunga. Guys like Tarver & Slater will be moved on. I can see Daniel Bryan winning the US Title and feuding with Nexus.

Alex Riley could be Miz's **** for a while and even maybe use Husky Harris as a enforcer type.

They had the same problem with the nWo and many great stables.

Wade Barrett is clearly being built up as the Main Event guy.  He needs to get that properly established, and when he is, the split of the group needs to be him, in a power struggle with another member who they want to give that push/rub to and put him on the same level, whether its Skip Sheffield as the Batista like monster, or Justin Gabriel for his high flying skills.  A couple need to become a regular team so they have stability when it ends, although as all stables show, not everyone is going to make it.

Via the Wrestling Observer--

The update on Skip Sheffield is that he appears to have broken his left ankle at the house show in Honolulu and will likely need surgery, which is about the most horrible timing of anything in awhile.

Didn't see this posted anywhere and this could be useful for other reasons.

That's AWFUL news, his role as the muscle of the stable was one of the most important, outside of Barrett, alongside Gabriel he was getting the biggest push of the group.  Maybe an angle where Husky Harris takes his spot is needed, they have a little time to think this out since next weeks RAW has already been taped.

That's the thing with wrestling, injuries can **** up good storylines. And it's bad for the person who suffers too obviously....

Hopefully he's back soon, as Hammy said he seems to be one of the most high profile members of Nexus, and has probably had the most mic time excluding Barrett.

I guess a lot depends on what their long term plans for the angle are (assuming they have some and aren't making it up as they go long), if the split is coming in the next month or so its not too bad, if they want to carry this on until the end of the year, its a bit grim.

Gutted for the guy.

He to me has been the outstanding member of Nexus in this angle.

It will hurt the angle.

Skip Sheffield, who reportedly suffered a broken left ankle at Wednesday night?s RAW live event in Honolulu, Hawaii, did not work WWE?s shows in Japan and China. Though specifics of his status are unclear, he is expected to be sidelined ?for some time?.

I think they still need to establish the personalities of a few of the current Nexus guys before they start bringing anyone else in. You have Barrett, the smart, no-nonsense leader. Sheffield is the (slightly psychotic) muscle. Otunga I guess is what his nickname says, the "A-list", the arrogant one with the money and the famous wife. Gabriel, Slater, Tarver and Young don't seem to have much character, though Young is out now so I guess he's not much of a problem.

I haven't seen any of this season's rookies except when they've appeared on Raw or SD so I can't really guess how well they'd fit in with Nexus.

Gabriel is an awful talker, but I think they've done well with him, that psycho stare before the 450 Splash is awesome!

Heath Slater has only just shown personality this past week when Cena made fun of him then he had that spot with Edge.  On the show he was the One Man Rock Band and as a babyface I always saw him as a Bill & Ted like character.

Tarver was bland on the show too.

Young was billed as a party guy who the SES kept trying to convert.

Out of the current crop, Harris could replace Sheffield, Riley and McGillicuty could fit in, but should only get a spot if its high profile, they are too good to be lackeys.

And dude you should watch the show, its quality!
