IS NXT coming back for a 3rd season? With SyFy picking up SD is a channel going to give two nights up to WWE?

I hope so it is a good way to introduce new talent into the WWE, I can see them carrying down shows because it would bring big time rating to that channel.

The latest twist in the Nexus storyline is that the title match ban for the group?s members has been lifted, as announced by RAW?s General Manager last night. Wade Barrett will compete for the WWE Title  in Night of Champions? Six Pack Challenge. Members of Nexus have actually been getting WWE Tag Team Title shots against The Hart Dynasty at WWE live events over the past few weeks.

I think that talk of Barrett as a world champion is a bit soon for me.

Personally i'd like to see Miz lose his US Title to Daniel Bryan in some way. I would be happy for Barrett to feud with Bryan and eventually gain the US Title.

At the same time as this i would have any two of Slater, Gabriel & Sheffield (Gabriel & Sheffield would be my preference) win the Tag Titles.

They could also take some of the new crop under their wing and slowly a rift could form. Its been done before but it could birth some really good talent.

After what I saw on RAW last night I am going to say Wade Barrett will be your next World Champion. This will only make the Nexus angle even better, and only can make the WWE even more money.  :champion:

I know it makes sense talent wise, but he can't cash it in on SD can he? coz Kane won the SD MITB.

Miz will be champion this year. I'm sure of it. How long for though is the question. I can see HHH coming back, feuding with Sheamus. Beating Sheamus after a big battle and Miz cashing it in on him.... Just a hunch.

Personally i don't think Barrett is ready, and i know that people like Swagger wern't either but at least Swagger worked for the company for a solid period before.

I'm all for new faces at the top, but he just doesn't look ready to me. As i said before, let him carry the US Title and see how that goes.

He'd spent the 12 mths prior as a comedy midcarder, his career had sunk so low he was stuck on Superstars and getting outsmarted by the likes of Santino Marella.

I'm all for the slow build, and I'd like them to take their time with Barrett, but he's a much more viable option now than Swagger was when he won it.  Barrett has been leading the charge against the entire RAW Main Event for the past few months.

I actually think it would be better to give Barrett the World Title if they are going to give him a title at all. Having the leader of Nexus holding the second-tier championship wouldn't make them that impressive, if that makes sense. Kinda like "We don't trust you with the top championship, here, have the US Title." Give Barrett the WWE Title in a few months, make Gabriel or whoever the US Champ and then some random pairing the Tag Champions, like they did with Evolution in 2003. I doubt it'll happen, but giving Nexus a few title would certainly help them. I'd be for one of the other members winning the US Title, but not Barrett....

As noted before, Skip Sheffield suffered a compound fracture of his left ankle at the WWE live event in Hawaii on August 18th. Sheffield is expected to have surgery next week. He hasn?t had it yet because they had to wait for the swelling to go down. Right now, Sheffield is expected to be out of action four to six months.

As reported here first, Nexus could've been an amazing, awesome idea

HOWEVER

WWE or established wrestlers backstage, whoever is responsible **** this kick ass angle right up the u know what.

It started when low midcard Jobber Santino and then mid carder for life Mark Henry chased the entire group out of the arena

WTF

Then u have them face Over the hill stars from yester year in a somewhat competitive match

U waste rubs from Cena and Co by kicking Darren whatever his name is out after having nice matches with John Cena

Now, on Raw u have Otunga and Slater pussing out not wanting to fight Orton and throwing it off on Justin Gabriel.

Congrats WWE, not only have u ruined Legacy by jobbing Rhodes and Dibiase to the point i cant take them seriously, but now, u have turned your best idea in half a decade into a glorified spirit squad/mean street posse

The Barrett/Cena thing works but the rest of Nexus is disposable

its a shame

Didn't the argument about how they were chased out the arena get mentioned here before? I'm sure it wasn't just Henry and Santino chasing them, there was a gang of Raw guys after them.

I don't think they've done anything to make them look particularly bad, definitely not Mean Street Posse level. They're heels, they're supposed to be a bit cowardly/sneaky. And while Otunga and Slater let Gabriel fight Orton, Gabriel was up for it, he didn't back down.

It's not been a 100% perfect angle, but I think you're being a bit harsh on it. It's been far from a ****-up IMO.

^ Exactly, perfect angle....no, but overall they have done pretty well with it.

The only major mistakes being Summerslam and the constant Cena is super human comebacks.  But likening them to The Posse or Spirit Squad is crazy.  I mean Barrett has beaten Jericho and Cena, Gabriel looked damn good against Orton, the World Champ this week.  Otunga is being built up well as a personality and is showing signs he will turn on Barrett.  Slater has constantly got pins in matches against top guys, like Edge and Jericho.  Sheffield was the enforcer and Arn Anderson like member until he got injured, not there fault.  And can anyone say Tarver wasn't pulling off the creepy serial killer like personality well?  As for Young, he sucked and thats why they ditched him.  And now it looks like we get 2 new member in Harris and Perfect's son (I can never spell his name).  Husky Harris is one hell of a talent.  2 damn good additions.

Nobody thought they would last this long, Main Event PPVs, be standing tall as many, many episodes of RAW went off the air, like we said, its not the best written thing ever, but its one of the best things they've done in years and has on the whole been booked fairly well.

I do know think Nexus angle has been mess up at all, I think WWE is handling it the right way because if you let this Nexus angle get out of control you will find yourself with a version of the NWO and I think the WWE wants to stay away from the deathtrap happening with Nexus.

I believe that they are playing it right and they are letting it go they way it should go beside they added Cena and two other superstars to the ranks, I think this Nexus angle will go on past Survivor Series and maybe until WrestleMania that is what I am think but you never know with Vince and writers, they could kill Nexus off tonight for all we know.
