It needs the spinal tap 'one louder' bit

They need titles - have then go on a spree. They need to be more aggressive, think back to MEM, they'd leave a body in a pile of blood untill there wasn't anyone left

Each member needs to receive more focus, at the moment they are incredibly generic

They need the hand signal/entrance/clan tag thing - something that identifies them as a group better than a crappy t shirt with an 'n' on...

Plus, they need an objective - remember the invasion angle? Never any idea what WCW was fighting for...control? How?

Personally I think the Nexus thing is coming along quite nicely

Barrett, Sheffield, Gabriel, Otunga & Slater have all shown promise in different ways and the addition of Perfect Jnr and Husky is a good move.

I agree with the point that they should be wearing the Gold.

I personally think they missed a trick with Daniel Bryan. Once Bryan won the US Title i would have liked to see Barrett have a feud with Bryan and eventually with Cena's help he wins the US Title. Then Gabriel and Slater/Sheffield or Husky&Perfect wins the Tag gold.

It simmers along a little with Cena getting in Otunga, Gabriel, Slater etc ears about Barrett's ego and only caring for himself, whilst keeping the US title on Barrett and the Tag gold on Nexus

Cena wins the rumble
Barrett orders him to lay down for him for the right to go to Mania.... Cena refuses
GM sets up a match at No Way Out for WM main event spot & Nexus control over Cena (Nexus & WWE are in the corners)
Nexus & Enforces interferes in match and it ends as a double DQ
GM offers Barrett choice of control over Cena or spot in WM main event
Barrett chooses Main event of Mania
Cena costs Barrett the US title to Bryan & Costs Nexus the tag gold
Then its announced that it will be a Triple Threat Cena vs Barrett vs Orton
Cena wins title at Mania
Barrett & Nexus attacks Cena after the match (Maybe)
Miz cashes in and beats Cena for the title (Maybe)

Thats how i would of played the Angle... then after Mania some of the Nexus get drafted to Smackdown or Nexus carries on but with a fight for leadership.

Glad to see Harris and McGillicutty in the stable, now they've got all the talented members from Season 2 on the rosters.  With Cena obviously leaving its good they have some strength in the stable after injury issues, hopefully they get put in a "Traditional" Survivor Series match.  Slater, Gabriel, Husky, McGillicutty & Otunga.  Despite going downhill towards the end of NXT Michael McGillicutty definately has potential, the evil grin on RAW alone made me think he could make quite the nasty heel, and both he and Harris are talented in the ring.  Heck the only one who sucks as a wrestler is Otunga.

According to an article on WWE.com documenting the history of The Nexus, Skip Sheffield is no longer considered a member of the group.

The article states: ?Immediately following that heinous first attack, the stalwart Bryan expressed remorse for his actions and parted ways with The Nexus, while Tarver, Sheffield and Young were later deemed unworthy of the rebels? signature armband either due to exile or injury. However, as witnessed by the WWE Universe, the group only grew stronger and more streamlined as a result of the changes within its ranks.?

During the Aug. 18 live event in Honolulu, Hawaii, Sheffield injured his ankle in a tag team match with David Otunga against The Hart Dynasty. It was later determined that he suffered a compound fracture of his ankle and was initially expected to be out for four to six months.

Sheffield was never officially booted from the group on television. Wade Barrett acknowledged in passing during a promo on the Aug. 30 episode of Raw that Sheffield suffered an ankle injury.

Survivor Series will be the tale of the tape.

If they have the generic ending: Barrett wins, Cena FU, Miz cash in

then this entire thing was a giant **** waste of time.

Having Cena turn true heel is the only way to make this worth the time and energy they put into it. Wrestling works best when u sprinkle reality into the storylines. Truth is Cena has been booed for years. This is his way of making his "Rocky maivia into The Rock" transformation.

It must be done. WWE is stale, it is falling fast............ So for the business, they have to quit worrying about T Shirt sales and do what is right.

But Cena turning fully heel to side with Nexus doesn't really make sense, considering how he's been treated since becoming a member. :weightlifting:

Is this the end of Nexus?  Or some swerve.  And if so, what becomes of the members.  Who have careers and who have future endevours on the horizon...

Sean Waltman on Nexus...

He feels the group is more similar to the nWo than DX.

?There would be no DX, if it wasn?t for the nWo, in my opinion. It closely resembles the nWo stuff with the mob mentality and the simple looking logo on the shirt. It?s kind of like let?s make it look less like nWo while copying it completely.

?I like Wade Barrett a lot. I think he has tons of potential. Just to put a guy like that, who is unproven or have any emotional equity with the fans as heel or babyface, it?s hard. It was an effective angle, and they are still getting mileage from it.

?They had to resort to that as a result of having a shallow roster. The people bought into it to a certain extent, but there was never a revelation that was a bigger mastermind until the CM Punk thing. That?s better to me, and I see it going in a different direction. I?m not sure if I like it much with all the initiation stuff and guys getting beaten up in the ring. I never liked that. In real life, especially in a street gang, who would do that? Nobody.

?I hated it in the nWo. They only did it in WWE really. They didn?t really do it much when we were in WCW. We didn?t beat our own guys up. It?s retarded. Sorry. Now they have this Mason Ryan guy. I hated that. That?s the writers.?

Following Randy Orton?s punt kick to Husky Harris on RAW, WWE has announced that the Nexus member is out of action indefinitely. WWE is hyping a response from CM Punk for the kick on next Monday?s RAW.

There has been speculation that Husky, despite his talent, isn?t going over so well with WWE officials because of his size and look. Some are wondering where Husky will fit into things if a 3-on-3 match with Nexus vs. The Corre takes place at WrestleMania.

Husky Harris returned to action at WWE?s FCW show this past Thursday night, defeating Monty Lynch. Husky received a babyface reaction from the crowd. During the match, Michael Tarver came and sat at ringside to watch. Tarver is now doing angle in FCW where he has been watching talents perform.

Why do CM Punk's stables fall apart? Are they kind of going for the 'Punk got involved with Nexus and **** it all up for them' angle? If so, that makes sense. If not, it's not the most glorious end that Nexus could've had....

...Kayfabe wise he sucks as a leader.  It didn't help that all the talented members (Gabriel, Slater, Barrett) left to Smackdown.  Ryan looked ropey quickly, Otunga was always poor, Hennig Jr. has been a joke since his NXT speech.  I did like Husky though, although it seems he is the one who has definately been ditched, he doesn't even get mentioned.  Like on RAW this week when Punk (who was great as always) ran down who Orton had taken out, Harris didn't even get a mention.

That made me LOL

an actual angle where a guy watches other talent perform? Sounds like punishment to me.
