This should be good, providing TNA hasn't folded by then

I will ask: who are those guest hosts?! Seems like a fine week to challenge RAW

They wouldn't do it because it'd draw attention to them and would backfire, but when I read then about the chance of it being taped, I though, Vince, get revenge on Eric, read the results out on RAW  :P

According to Dave Meltzer, the decision has been made behind the scenes to have TNA Impact air on Monday nights full-time. It's unknown when an official announcement will be made.

The change is expected to be made in early March but it's still unknown if the show will air from 9-11 or 8-10 to give TNA an unopposed first hour.

The plan at this point is to tape shows every other week with Monday being live and a Tuesday taping airing the following Monday.

The general feeling is that the Thursday ratings don't matter and there is more potential for growth of product interest on Monday nights.

Wow, great news for TNA especially since this show was taped a few weeks ago,I think:

This week's edition of TNA Impact scored a 1.4 rating (nearly 2 million viewers) making it the highest rated edition of the program on Thursday nights.

The only bad news is that the first quarter was the highest and the rating dropped as the show went on. However, it went back up for the main event.

The first hour did a 1.46 and the second hour did a 1.30. The show opened with a 1.51, so there was some interest coming off the screwjob storyline.

Dixie Carter posted the following messages on Twitter:

"Just heard from Spike Prez, Kevin Kay. iMPACT! did record numbers last night. A 1.4 rating!! Toasting in Manchester."

"Thanks to all our amazing fans! We are so lucky to you!!"

Love everything mostly about Impact except the dumb AJ/Flair thing... AJ just can't pull it off and looks retarded..........

thought Anderson and Jarrett tore it down and delivered an excellent match.

Love the 8 man tourney thing they got going on.

I liked Impact, I did, but dude, when you get excited and like a product you really can go over board  :hihi: Anderson vs. Jarrett was meh, I thought it was one of the weakest matches on the card, heck it seemed like it barely went past 5 minutes.

The 6 Man X Division match on the other hand, now that was good.  Generation ME and MCMG need a PPV match, a Ladder or something similiar and a good 20+ minutes.

I see Nasty Boys vs. Team 3D is currently listed as a "Tag Team Match", the word **** needs adding, I doubt these teams will be having a regular match, a **** match with mucho blading, they could pull it off, it was funny to see Team 3D have found someone to call fat, and with all this fat calling, where is Scott Steiner:hihi:

I didn't think the AJ and Flair stuff was that bad, I actually found them quite good together, Flair seems to be really enjoying himself, what was bad was the Hogan/Hebner segment.

Even without nitpicking the hired...fired...stuff is confusing.

Lashley wanted to quit, changed his mind, then got fired.

Foley got fired, shows up, wants to quit, gets blackmailed into not quiting by the guy who fired him.

Angle quit, but shows up anyway.

This 3 things were in the space of 2 shows, thats just damn skippy.

Still despite all that, like I said, it made for entertaining viewing, so plotholes aside, thats important.

Was a good show but I don't really have anything to compare it to as I've only just started watching TNA.

However, I'm sure I'm gonna get sick of hearing Hulk say "Brutha" every farts end.

well, in most jobs, when new management comes in, normally a lot of employees want to quit cause everyone hates change.

Im gonna trust the process and hope this is all building towards some payoff

I feel they are gonna do sort of a reboot of the MEM vs Frontline but do it right and better this time

Like Hogan/Bisch vs Foley,Jarrett etc and have a giant war which could be awesome if booked right.

I prefer your idea of Flair, Styles, Morgan and Hernandez in a stable.  The idea of new guys with a sprinkling of vets I think works best.  If they feuded with Hogan, Angle and say Beer Money, that'd be a cool way to elevate a fair few guys, you'd draw in old fans with the legends and hopefully they'd become fans of the new guys.

Thought this was the best impact in ages

MCM and Kendrick v GE and Red was awesome - give us this stuff every week, rebuild the X division!

Loved Jarrett v Anderson - Jarrett always seems to give good matches

impact zone design looks better each week - thus was the first week I really saw change and leaves me optimistic

- The decision has been made within TNA that iMPACT will be going to Mondays full-time but it’s not known yet when those changes will take effect and it’s unknown if the show will air from 8-10pm or 9-11pm.

The current plan has TNA taping the show every other week doing a live shot on Monday and taping on Tuesday with the taped show airing the next Monday. Because of the occasional odd number of weeks between pay-per-views, it’s possible there will be times there TNA will tape three shows or do a taping where they would fly people in just for one live Monday.

TNA may make the decision to go live every Monday night depending on how low the ratings for taped shows are. iMPACT going to Monday nights has actually been discussed between Hogan, Bischoff, TNA officials and Spike since October of 2009.

Sink or swim I guess. I know some people will say it is too soon but TNA has never had momentum like this even if it "only" a 1.4. I think they would be much better off going 8-10. You still get that Monday Night audience and if they are allowed an overrun this will force WWE to have a strong opening for RAW and a strong 10 pm opener.
I thought TNA was  actually beating WWE in some markets overseas. I think people forget the amazing strides TNA has made from Wednesday night PPVs (my friend/co-host on MNM,ordered enough of those early Wed night shows@$9.99 a pop to earn a call from Jeff Jarrett-they had a point system for every Wed night PPV that you ordered) to TV,to SPIKE,to Hogan and now possibly going live. It really is something.

Didn't think Impact was that good this week

It's really time Bischoff/Hogan started delivering - everything feels like a work in progress, we need some pay off

Good to see Joe back after weeks of jobbing...
