One question - so Rayne and Sky won the Knockout tag title and the champions are now Sky and Von Erich? U wot?
I assume they are using the "Freebird" rule.

So u build up Rob Terry....then have him in an angle with Orlando Jordan

Its not going to be long before Terry isn't viewed as tough...but Jordan's...er...''friend''

We don't need any of that

Fire Russo!

Enjoyed it this week (sans the Main Event), what I think is really adding to the show is the new way they have of filming backstage segments, the shoot-esque/real feel to them, very well done.

I think a big problem is the fact we live in a microwave society where everyone wants it NOW

people forget, it took WWE over a year and a half to finally consistently beat WCW. WWE had a great show but were getting hammered in the ratings.

So i think we just need patience while TNA are figuring everything out. The ranking system could be cool, as Hammy pointed out the backstage shoot type stuff is awesome.

so i say give it a little more time.

TNA President Dixie Carter announced the following on her Facebook this afternoon:

TNA will make a major announcement during tonights TNA iMPACT! on Spike TV at 8ET/7CT. We strive to deliver what our fans want, and the next step in the evolution of the TNA brand will do just that.

- The announcement may be TNA’s move back to Thursday nights. TNA officials announced to the wrestlers at today’s iMPACT in the locker room that iMPACT is going back to Thursday nights. We should know more after tonight.

How do they announce it without losing credibility, we tried, we failed, we just aren't big enough yet?  We'll try again when we are stronger and kick WWE's ass?

They lose major credibility with this announcement.  I think the last show might have drawn 0.5.  Build up the product where there is a stable rating (1.0 or higher) and then decide what to do.  With JR on the outs in WWE (contract expired on 4/30) bring him in as talent evaluator/backstage and as an announcer.  I like Mike Tenay but with JR he gives the matches an epic atmosphere.

Although, I do think SpikeTV probably forced them to move back to Thursday.  I hope they learn from their missteps though.

Can anyone explain why they moved to Mondays in the first place? Why go directly up against your competition? Makes no sense, it only hurts TNA.

ego.

Bischoff and Hogan thought they = ratings and Dixie was fooled

this whole thing has been a disaster - if they had stayed on Thursday they would be getting 1.8-2 ratings, now - they look a joke, they'll be lucky to get the 1.3 they were getting before

Argh! This back stage stuff is magic camera! Argh!

Can't believe EY is now in The Band - that's the laziest writing I have ever seen in TNA. They just did an angle about him not joining, fire russo now! The third member should be Steiner - an actual NWO goon, hell - Jarrett or Sting would make far more sense.

This new ranking system leads to matches on impact? What a rip off...

Impact was actually awesome

u gotta stop reading the results dude.

i enjoyed it from beginning to end and never felt like fast forwarding.

they do the magic camera cool now, cause JB tries to get an interview and they kick him out but the door is **** and its like they are sneaking a peak. so not really magic camera.

EY thing was a nice swerve to be honest. figured with Xpac out, they needed a worker. I actually thought we were gonna get a boring ass EY vs the band feud. kinda works well with he joining.

I saw about 70 minutes of the whole 120 minute show last night, and from what I saw iMPACT sucked. I gave them a chance and mainly that was to see the Knockouts match. I just can't get into TNA right now. There were times I could, but honestly the only thing I can get into that TNA does are some of their PPV matrches and Velvet SKy ;).

How do you have a 3 minute title match? That seems like RAW Main Event booking from a month ago and even further than that.

This voting thing for the title hasn't got off to the best of starts - 5 min jobbing, hmm.

Really think a rating system would be great - have the actual win record matter, shame it's used like pop idol instead...

WOW, tonights Impact was freaking AWESOME

It still baffles me how wrestling fans can still prefer WWE over this. FOr me TNA is just so much better than WWE on every single level.

The Desmond Wolfe/Abyss thing is wild

Samoa joe/Matt Morgan!

Give me that over Orton vs whoever  or Cena vs Batista anyday

The main event! WOW

I do have to agree with gnrfan and some others now.. maybe they should build up feuds a little better.. i loved the triple threat and maybe it is planting hardy vs rvd seeds or something.

I think if they had a better plan after Jan 4th, they would be doing well. they got a 1.5 rating! then disappeared for 3 months.. people lost interest. people have short memories.. they saw u, liked it, tuned in next monday and nothing... maybe tried again the next week.. didn't see u, said **** it, switch back to WWE.
