Another chaotic Impact

....but thats not always a bad thing

TNA has this crazy energy to it, you never know if the next 5 mins will see TNA become the biggest thing in the world or crumple to bits

...and that is excting, you just cant predict where they are going

The Eric Young swerve was fantastic - i did not see that coming at all, I really though Young was doing a u-turn now that Jarret is dead/gone - i thought they were 'undoing' an angle - and they swerved me good. That piledriver was evil. A+ Russo!

Booking however is a bit odd - Joe should take the X Division title, the MEM having all the gold except that does look bad to the casual fan

...and Morgan vs Aj Styles for a part in the Hard Justice main event is a mistake - after all, its obvious Styles will beat Morgan - but worse, Morgan vs Angle isnt the right idea at a time when Morgan should be 'auditioning' for the MEM

All told TNA isnt at its best - but its damn entertaining, just bring back the X Division!!

....oh and why is the Frontline now 'The Originals'....

As a fan of large factions the ever increasing size of the MEM meets with my approval. They just need to be careful not to go 'nwo' with sub groups and 'associates'...

Did people see the MCMG in the crowd..,that must have been worked, but odd thing to do (as it's too close to the truth), rare for a company to air it's dirty laundry like that...

What a superb edition of impact! How much did that feature in just 2 hours?!

I don't believe even Vince McMahon could argue that this was truly a new high fir wrestling and the best edition of any wrestling show in years.

The knockout division is now worryingly good - they aren't making up the numbers, it's gonna come a time when the men are!

...and JB with the hammer was so funny!

The WWE/TNA ratings battle in the UK is much closer than in the US, with TNA often coming out on top. They beat Raw and Smackdown in the last week of July.
July 27th Raw drew 57,000
July 30th TNA Impact drew 70,000
July 31st Smackdown drew 45,000

TNA has zero exposure over here - hell, I only heard it existed via a friend

Its doing well here (or WWE is dead...) TNA: bring us a ppv!

Actually the figs for RAW on thursday are usually Smackdown levels for a total of about 100,000 for Raw each week

I'm not denying they are doing well, its damn impressive, but I'd still say the article is misleading, to say they are doing better, if you take into account the replay scores to, TNA has a habit of doing very low replay numbers.

I think the point is not how well tna is doing or how badly wwe is doing - but how close tiny tna is to global wwe...

Like I said its impressive, but remember its on a free channel to and doesn't **** the repeats and recaps.

Running with the TNA being big in the UK thing, long term I'd like them to do a PPV over here, go all the way with it.

Build up World Elite.

Matches way up the card with Doug Williams, Rob Terry and Brutus Magnus, maybe a Tag Title and Legends Title with the combinations once they are more over would be pretty damn cool.  As it stands Doug Williams is the only really good all round guy but Magnus is improving at a decent rate so in time, I'd like this, whether is finicially viable I don't know.

One misleading thing about this is that TNA is on a free channel that anyone can access whereas WWE are on a subscriber channel (Sky Sports). Not to discredit TNA cause they are obviously growing but if Bravo streamed a TNA PPV live at 1am just how many of those viewers would actually watch it?

There's RAW/SmackDown!/Superstars/ECW and two or three shows which show highlights from those shows, plus "Vintage Collection" or whatever the show that shows classic matches is called. Then every one of them is repeated two or three times in 7 days.

Even when Sky One used to show two hours a night of "The Simpsons", they couldn't rival that kind of over exposure.
