It was cool to see Eric Bischoff, and also the NWO back together
Sting in the rafters, Val Venis not being a pathetic jobber - all great
but going head to head with RAW just hammers home all the thing TNA does wrong - the terrible camera work, embarrasing pyro, weak entrances, the horrible design of the impact zone, the 8 second matches, the over emphasis on the knockouts, the awful graphics, eric young
RAW was actually better than Impact was - it was focused and well executed, it even managed a good ending and this wasn't even a great RAW.
purely my opinion but this was the first time I've seen RAW beat impact for overall quality, I'd rather see Maryse strut her stuff than the 18th meeting of Tara and ODB this month alone and I'd rather watch DX v Jerishow than 2 knockout teams hurled togther for the night
maybe I'm just dispointed that TNA's flaws were still there despite a new 'creative direction'
it's a tad amusing though that TNA now has all the big stars and famous faces and WWE is the company with the young guys getting a push...
...and if I were a casual fan I'd be watching TNA for those golden oldies - whatever people are doing now doesn't top what guys like Sting and even Scott Hall were once doing
