Draft Pick analyzing thread for game XVII
« on: December 11, 2010, 09:52:39 pm »
Solid picks so far. Surely cena won't make a movie and will be reinstated before Royal Rumble.

Miz will have a short reign i am sure. Can't see him main eventing Wrestlemania.

Edited: It's game XVII  ;)

Not just solid picks, identical picks to the first 3 made in the RAW League draft in the last game.  Clearly people still retain faith despite "certain" people not living up to potential this game, Miz has way underscored compared to what was expected.

Cena back before RR ?? Heck he'll be back next monday and fighting Wade at TLC.

Miz main eventing depends on whether there are still plans to merge the 2 World Straps or not.  Merger = no, no merger, I think there is a good chance.

I'd riot more for that.

... Due in no small part to the fact that I picked him up. Expect him to be scoring high again next game.

Tough picks coming.

Takin a shot at Alex Riley. With the Miz, I am hoping he has tag bouts with Miz, wrestles the guys miz is feuding with etc,who knows? Maybe a US Title possibility, someone has to beat Daniel Bryan right? Why not Riley and get the miz and US title rub?

worth a shot.

Because he's been treated like a jobber/lackey and because 'Mania season means the vets who have been away/part time i.e. Taker get more air time, newbies like Riley have to wait until the quiet post 'Mania period for their push.

Don't get me wrong, I like the guy and think he is a heck of a talent but I expect his push to come in about 4-5 months.

Went with Punk since, despite not wanting "Injured" guys, I doubt he is going to be on the shelf for longer, why start a feud with Cena if you are out injured for months, right??

True Punk is a good pick, just feel a lot of promos and losses coming. but for 3rd pick, can't argue with it.

Love having the balls to go for Jericho. I seriously considered it. but with 4th not 5th pick. Good chance he comes back though I'd imagine.

I was pleasantly surprised and pleased to have Mark Henry fall into my lap at 4.

in a brand split, he isn't that great, but for this game, Henry 4th is excellent. He scored over 150 pts last game. He is a big guy so maybe an elmination or two in Rumble. always got Superstar potential and u never know when he will do something in a tag team format.

Agreed, Henry was the strongest (no pun intended) left, the rest of the list is the pits!

some good teams taking shape

love Scotta and Evo at the moment

Mine has potential

Hammy will either repeat or finish out of top 3.

Interesting teams so far

tough to say cause a lot of people drafted on potential or hoping for comebacks.

Scotta's top 3 are TOUGH but if Koz and Santino lose... Scotta is wooden spooning it

Evo has a very good team, Yankee's is good despite drafting Bourne injured.

Hammy has a juggernaut especially if Jericho comes back. If not, he will be top 2 or 3 anyway. possible repeat

really depends on Rumble. If Kane ONLY fights Edge... hammy is gonna be in a rough spot imo

IF Kane fights Edge AND THEN gets into the Royal Rumble... hammy is gonna be shining bright.

Jim's team looks pretty promising if Drew doesn't get buried.

Miss Perfection team looks pretty nice also.

GNRfan's we will have to wait and see.. Undertaker may not come back till WM... so a lot rides on that. if he comes back at Rumble... He is right there for title.. if not.. could be another middle of the pack performance.

I like my team with Kofi,Beth,Mark Henry and Alex Riley.  Riley maybe a bad 3rd pick but Henry is such a good 4th pick..u could almost flip flop and Henry 3rd riley 4th doesn't look bad at all.

so I, barring injury, should compete for title again.

Depends on debuts, who picks up the right people, who spends cash the most wise.

Hammy needs Ziggler to keep title a little longer and defend it.. kane to compete in Rumble, CM to be active and not promo boy, Jericho to come back

if so, he is my lock to repeat.

for me, I need Kofi to stay active, beth win Diva's title, Henry do well in Rumble, Riley not go long stretches without scoring.
