WWE Royal Rumble - January 30th 2011

Miz has really won my respect. He has turned into a fantastic everything. I consider him the Jericho of the next generation. not quite as high flying/athletic as jericho but his persona and in ring work is fantastic.

His match with Orton was great. not one time did i yawn or want it to hurry up and be over. Excellent finish with the new nexus.  Wonder if he will get fined for wanting his "**** belt" hahaha

Finally you like him!

Match was decent, not amazing.

Diva's one was weird, surely I wasn't the only one thinking (hoping) for Kong...or Beth.  Eve is just...odd.

Anyway Rumble time now... Can't wait!

That Morrison stuff was great.  Interesting that most of the participants have been smaller types who can move and wrestle.

Let's be honest, we all know the show closing match will be Cena vs Miz after Miz tried to kill Cena's dream....

Cool seeing Diesel and Booker T.  Nice cameos.  Don't want them back long term though, Nash could do well as a personality, but even during his brief time in the Rumble he was moving gingerly.

Loved the stuff with "New Nexus", can't complain over the winner, the shock of Santino maybe winning was funny, only thing I hated was....Hornswoggle....oh and still no Triple H??

Yeah, I think it's perfectly fine that Del Rio won.  I mean I bash them for going with the status quo guys so I can't really complain about the fact that they're elevating a new face into the main event scene.

I really hated the Hornswoggle and Cena portion of the Rumble.  It was just so absurd.  I would have been furious if Santino won.  That would have been a **** joke.  The reaction Diesel got was insane.   It's pretty easy to set up a Diesel match for WM.  Have someone insult Shawn Michaels and Diesel will defend his honor.  That one is pretty simple. 

I bet Triple H is back for Elimination chamber.  Ok who loses their belt next month at EC?  It's happened the past 2 years.  A new champion has emerged out of the last 2.  Last year both belts changed hands.

Big Show/Diesel seemed to be hinted at briefly. The John Morrison spot was outstanding.

Miz is great and its great to see D admit he was wrong and he now sees what we all saw.

The Morrison spot was brilliant.

I liked the ending to the Rumble. Was watching with friends and the general consensus in the room towards the end was anyone could win this BUT Del Rio!

I said i though Barrett would win, but i knew that Orton wouldn't so i wasn't surprised.

Like Hammy says main event will be Miz vs Cena with Del Rio vs Edge vs Mysterio as the other title match.

I quite liked the look of Sheamus & McIntyre together too. If they could get a couple of big hitters against them for Mania, it could be a nice little feud.

The Nexus/Corre thing is great could be some decent build-up there.

Disapointment of the night was realising how far people like Dibiase and Rhodes have fallen away. Still think Dibiase has a bright future.
