John Cena apologizes, said he was FINED for saying ASS? WHAT!

John Cena commented on his official Twitter page that he was fined for his use of language last night on WWE RAW during the segment with CM Punk, in which he says he would beat Punk's ass when he got his hands on him next week. Cena also took the time to formally apologize to anyone who may have been offended by the language last night. Here is what Cena had to say...

"CeNation. Lots of posts about my language last night on raw. I do apologize. It was out of line and I was indeed fined. If I have offended anyone it was not my intention. I was very frustrated about being hurt and not able to compete. I lost my cool. I am sorry. Next time I will use something more creative like 'whoop yer crap locker!' Or 'whoop yer dump box!' "

Dunno whether to read this as being true, as why would his 'anger' at being injured come out in a scripted promo?

Is this maybe similar to WWE purposely censoring his 'RUCK FULES' cap a few years back? To make him more 'badass'?

What a load of rubbish that is.  I can't see how he was fined for that because after watching it I got the impression that when he did say it they were a bit slow on beeping it out.  I'm sure they tried to but maybe I was just hearing things.  I also that believe that it was being shown on wwe.com with the word still being heard.

Yeah, they tried to silence it out (and failed ). I remember back last year when Bret did a promo and said "WWF", I think the same thing happened when they tried to censor it, he said it and then there was a split second of silence afterwards.
