I had a disagreement with my mate while watching SS.

I thought that he will end up a HOF'er and my mate didn't.

I thought that for all the years work and how the crowd love him and he helped pioneer the TLC match.  I thought that would get him in.

My friend was adament that he won't for his discipline record.

So do you think he will or won't....... or will he only make it in as a tag team?

They may be put in as a team, but either way both Hardy's are dead certs unless they fall out with management and quit never to return.

They are definately popular enough, and to be honest, it is hardly a select few who make it, Pete Rose is in it after all.

I mean there are guys in there with discipline issues from the past (Mr. Perfect - Plane Ride from Hell), heck he left on bad terms, Hardy is still on good terms, his past problems are just that.

Heck they need 5 or so people a year atleast for the ceremonies on tv. In 10 years they will be way out of talent. In 10 years they will need atleast 50 superstars to induct.  I can't think of 50 from the 1990s til now that would get in. I wish it was an independent panel which selected as the wwe picks people who it can sell merch of, dvds on, and help sell wm.
10 years from now look for former wcw world champion david arquette to get in. (Well he will before jarret)

At last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings in Phoenix, new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk challenged Jeff Hardy to a Loser Leaves WWE match for the main event. Hardy accepted the challenge and lost to Punk inside a steel cage. One fan in attendance said the match was an amazing one and that Hardy gave a great speech after the match.

It’s been speculated for months and it now appears that Jeff Hardy is gone from WWE, for the time being.

Jeff Hardy has been arrested for possession of anabolic steroids and a number of pills, reports ThePilot.com, a local newspaper from Moore County where Jeff Hardy is located.

The following is from the article:

"Hardy, 32, of 265 Boys Camp Road, Cameron, was arrested after a search of his residence yielded 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder **** and items of drug paraphernalia..."

He's currently in Moore County jail with bail set at $125,000. Hardy was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of **** and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

I will be posting the rest of this story tonight!

Bet the WWE are glad he didn't stay on now...

First Angle gets arrested, now Jeff. I'm sure main event guys getting arrested for DUIs and drug possession isn't going to make wrestling look good.

And wasn't Jeff one of the main guys in the WWE that was popular with the kids??....

Its odd timing.

He's had 2 strikes right?

Maybe he quit because he knew he couldn't pass a drugs test and wanted time away to get clean, rather than fail and get fired.

Seems like there must be more to this.

I think WWE knew that this is was going to happen so I think that is why they did not try to resign him. Let's not forget this was the second time he has left the WWE over drugs, and I believe this is it for Jeff because those are some serious drugs he has been caught with this time. I believe his WWE plus wrestling career is over for good!

This comes from Wrestling Global News and I thought I would put this one because there is more information than what I got earlier.

Jeff Hardy was arrested today near his home in Cameron, North Carolina
on charges of trafficking in prescription pills and possession of
anabolic steroids.

The Moore County Sheriff's Office confirmed that during a search of his
home they seized 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription
pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder
**** and other items of drug paraphernalia.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized was $2,500.00.

Hardy, 32, was the subject of a joint investigation by officers from the
Moore County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, Moore County Sheriff’s
Office Select Enforcement Unit and the Fayetteville Police Department.

He was booked at Moore County Detention Center and later released on a
$125,000 secured bond.

His full arrest report won't be made public until Monday.

The story has been picked up by several media outlets based on a press
release by the Moore County Sheriff's Office.

However, Hardy has been posting messages regarding his arrest on his
Twitter account.

He wrote: "The media is the media, I wish they would at least report the
story correctly & accurately. I will make a statement later."

In response to a story on the TMZ website, he also stated: "For the
record, Matt didn't bail me out, loan me money, or is his name on
anything..He's just learning about today's situation."

The WWE has made no official statement on his arrest.

I think WWE knew that this is was going to happen so I think that is why they did not try to resign him.

According to this article, they were trying to get him to stay right up until he left.

Several current WWE Superstars have posted thoughts on Jeff Hardy’s arrest on Twitter. Below are comments:

Chavo Guerrero: “Hey guys, just heard about jeff Hardy. Don’t know details yet but i want to give my support. Jeff is a classy person and also have his back!”

Chris Jericho: “Don’t think of judging Jeff Hardy until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes. I will always have Jeffs back…”

Matt Hardy: “Thanks for the support on SD tonight-I know I’m not 100% yet, but I promise you I’ll get there. And remember, innocent until proven guilty… It’s been a long, stressful day for me.. But, everything will be ok.. Guaranteed. Like Public Enemy said “Don’t Believe The Hype!”"
