Prowrestling.net reports that the word in the TNA locker room today is that Jeff Hardy will wrestle in the Steel Cage Asylum match on tonight’s iMPACT for the X Division Title.

It is confirmed that Hardy has arrived at the iMPACT Zone today. It’s possible that people in the locker room are trying to swerve everyone but that is the word going around.

the cage match was ****. why hang on the top of the cage waiting to be taken down before you decided to finally try and escape....

Also looks like Jeff has signed a contract with TNA, you know he wont be allowed to come back to the wwe anymore.

After making his shocking return to TNA Wrestling at Monday night's live 3-hour iMPACT! special, Jeff Hardy has been dealt yet another legal setback.

Jeff Hardy's drug charges went to the grand jury yesterday in Moore County, North Carolina. A grand jury found that there is enough evidence to indict Hardy and the case has been sent to Superior Court, according to a spokesperson with the Moore County Court. The case will be officially set on their docket within the next week, according to PWInsider.com.

Hardy was arrested on September 11th, 2009 after police raided his home in Cameron, North Carolina. A joint investigation conducted by officers with the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics and select enforcement units and the Fayetteville Police Department led to the search. According to the police report, a search of his residence yielded 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder **** and items of drug paraphernalia. He was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of **** and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jeff was set for a probable cause hearing later this month to determine wehther there was enough evidence to send the case to Superior Court, but it appears prosecutors opted to forgo that hearing and go right to the grand jury in order to move the case along.

Crap. Hope this doesn't hinder him.

With the reduced schedule, him as X-Division champ could make the X-Division great again.
This is how it works, You're young until you're not
You love until you don't, You try until you can't

And everyone must breathe, Until their dying breath

Jeff Hardy looks set to feud with Homicide - idiots

have him as x division champion and then have the x title as equal to the TNA belt but contested by different styles - thus 2 major belts and 2 wrestling styles get prominence. Fans need choice - that extends to the actual match styles themselves, not just PG or otherwise

overnight jeff could perhaps even get the x title higher than the TNA belt - Hardy v Sabin v Shelley, omfg

^ Thats been a criticism of TNA for awhile, they bring in big names then they become "Just another wrestler" as opposed to being pushed and hyped as the star they are, and they get lost in the shuffle.

Its hard to judge so soon and Homicide will provide good matches with him, its just not headlining stuff, although MCMG don't get headline treatment either, I'd say wait and see how it pans out, heck I haven't even seen much of his debut aside from a steel chair shot on the ramp.

Jeff should get the heavyweight title immediately. He is the most over merch guy in all of wrestling by far with the possible exception of Cena. Homicide? Yeah, that would be a great match but you gotta push the top star in the world all the way.

I know he is not homegrown but Jeff Hardy is someone to build TNA around. When he was there in 04/05, I don't think TNA was on SPIKE yet and he was not the worldwide mega star that he is now.

I think that Hardy's first TNA dvd is probably still the top seller in the company's history.

Watching Impact now, great to see Jeff, can't believe they let him keep his horrendous theme music, sung by himself, I wonder if that was a deal breaker  :hihi:

He should feud with AJ in a perfect world but AJ is the guy TNA want to build - but everyone would back Hardy in a feud

Hardy has to get TNA guys over, what happens if WWE or the courts drag jeff away after he'd buried AJ?

Thanks to PWInsider.com for the following:

As seen at the beginning of the January 5th edition of ECW, WWE has again edited the opening to its television programming. Recently, Hulk Hogan was removed from the opening and replaced with the "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase, and Mick Foley was removed and replaced with Jeff Hardy. Following his return to TNA on Monday, Hardy himself has now been replaced with Kofi Kingston. Surprisingly, "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who also appeared on TNA programming this past Monday, and who is more prominently featured than Hardy in the opening, has not been removed... at least not yet.

WWE sources were reportedly caught off guard by Jeff Hardy's appearance on Impact, as there was been a rumor floating around that Hardy had verbally agreed to return to WWE.

There is also word that Vince McMahon "no-sold" the news of Hardy going to TNA.
