Kayfabe - A Fake Real Movie About A Fake Real Sport

Kayfabe - The Movie! is a mockumentary about the lives of indy workers & their falling company. This is very much a film for the IWC, it offers laughs as long as you know the business. The movie shows the runnings of a small struggling federation in Canada who are forced to shut down...but not before one final hurrah. Colourful characters such as "Rocket" Randy Tyler, Steve Justice but most of all the ever so Randy Savage-like commentator, Marco Pain (Who delivers many classic lines, including one in the trailer below).

In much the same way as This is Spinal Tap lampooned the world of heavy metal music and The Office skewered the sub-culture of daily work, Kayfabe pulls no punches while revealing the hilarious absurdities of independent professional wrestling.

I'd encourage people to check this out as it is very entertaining for wrestling fans like us. Perhaps the best way to describe this film would be to say imagine The Wrestler if it had been directed by Kevin Smith.
