Since I'm watching WCW, in order, from 1st Nitro to the last.  I wondered if people would be interested if I uploaded say the "nWo" parts of the show/event I watched each week to youtube, in order of course so you could experience the whole nWo storyline.

Since I'm upto Halloween Havoc 1996, that is where we would start.

I'd give a brief recap of whats happened so far so you know what the storylines/nWo members are going in.

So like I said if you'd be interested just say and I'll get working on it  ;)

Watchable  :DX:

Its not perfect since its taken from peoples original VHS tapings, but it shouldn't affect your enjoyment either.

This is a really cool idea. I watched WCW alot back in the late 90's so i pretty much know everything that happened with NWO and everything else back than but it would be kool since i havent seen that stuff in years. Be interesting if my memory of it, still being really fond of those times, has clouded how good or bad it really was.

I really wish the WWE would put out a proper DVD showcasing how good WCW really was back in the late 90's. Well at least i remember it that way. Too bad vince's ego will never let that happen.

On a more personal note or request if you will. Is it possible for you to put together the goldberg stuff when you get to it? Its been a long time since I really watched that stuff and I really bought into the character and the way they sold him. I didnt like his run in the WWE much but I was a teenager than and remember really liking Goldberg. I wonder how i would feel now....

Also have you gotten to the Ralphus security guard **** they did with Jericho? I remember that being fuckin hilarious. I also loved Pepe. God that was so stupid. Fuckin chavo..if you haven't gotten to that...you will and than you'll know exactly what i'm talking about.  :hihi::smoking:
Johnny Nitro or John Morrison or whatever name he wants to go by SUCKS!

I am in favor of CENA FREE WRESTLING!!

I miss HBK and Edge!

Thats it thats all I have to say...Because I'm Sober_Times, And I'm awweeesoomee!

Haha careful on the spoilers dude  :P

Jericho is a fun babyface, only about a month into his time with the company.

Like I said I'll be starting with Halloween Havoc '96 (Goldberg will take awhile).

Here is the summary for people anyway.

Kevin Nash and Scott Hall invaded the company in May, claiming they were taking over, at the Great American Bash Kevin Nash jacknifed Eric Bischoff off the stage. They challenged WCW to a match at Bash at the Beach, where they and a 3rd man would beat WCW.  It was them vs. Savage, Luger and Sting.  Luger got knocked out mid match and stretchered to the back, so it became 2-on-2 as The Outsiders partner hadn't turned up.  Hulk Hogan shows up coming to the ring and the logic is he has shown up to save WCW (Heenan asks but which side are they on?), replace Luger and take out The Outsiders, he chases them from the ring....but then legdrops Savage.  Post match the fans pelt the ring in garbage as Hogan cuts a promo saying they are the New World Order of Wrestling and tells the fans to stick it.

Over the coming weeks Sting cuts a fantastic, "No you stick it" promo to Hogan.  People question who will join the nWo next and its not a matter of if people join just who, they have to have more members.  During an episode of Nitro, Jimmy Hart rushes the ring calling Lex Luger and other wrestlers to the back, nWo are attacking WCW guys, Mysterio is thrown into the tv truck, Scott Riggs and Arn Anderson are layed out.  The nWo jump into a limo and Savage gvies chasing, jumping on the roof as the car drives off (Savage is playing the crazy man to the extreme).  As ambulances show up they sell the beatings so well, Benoit is in tears because one of his mentors Anderson is down, the commentators are shocked, they even have a "replacement match" featuring jobbers High Voltage.  The big news coming out of this is Mysterio said there was a 4th man

The next even was Hog Wild in August, The Outsiders were against Sting and Luger and Hogan was going after the WCW Belt against The Giant.  The Outsiders won there match after the referee Nick Patrick hit Luger after Luger had accidently clocked him, had the referee turned?  It was made out to be an accident.  In the Main Event Hogan beat The Giant after interfence, where was WCW?  Post match, Ed Leslie who had been going with the Booty Man gimmick, came out dressed in nWo colours.  He had come to celebrate, Hogan though quickly turned on him and had him beaten down to show, if I'll do that to my best friend, what will I do to the rest of you? (As of October Ed Leslie still hasn't been seen).

Over the coming weeks more and more people showed up as nWo members.  Ted Dibiase appeared in the audience and was revealed as the guy paying for the nWo promos on WCW television.  The Giant ran to the ring during an nWo beatdown but ended up saving them and taking out the WCW guys, it was revealed he had been bought off.  Syxx showed up in the audence as the "6th" member, pressing a button that resulted in the audience being covered in nWo flyers.  The next event was War Games at Fall Brawl and it was meant to be Arn Anderson, Sting, Lex Luger and Ric Flair vs. Hogan, Nash, Hall and a 4th member.  In the weeks prior to the event a backstage segment showed the nWo talking to Sting and when Luger rushed out the nWo and Sting beat him down, Sting had turned?  The week before Nitro Sting was nowhere to be found.  At Fall Brawl Sting came backstage and tried to talk to Luger and The Horseman but they didn't want to know.

Early in the night The Giant beat Savage after Hogan interfered.  Savage had been announced as Hogan opponent for Halloween Havoc so they were building things here.  In the War Games match Sting showed up as an nWo member, the last WCW guy though was....Sting, it turned out the nWo Sting was a fake.  The real Sting crushed all the nWo guys but then he left the ring.  He was pissed off nobody had trusted him.  The nWo recovered and the numbers played in there favour as Luger ended up submitting.

After Fall Brawl Sting cut a promo on Nitro saying he was no longer WCW and he wasn't nWo, he was a free agent, and he'll show up as and when he feels like it.  Savage has been terrorised by the nWo.  Constant in-ring beatdowns and being spray painted, Miss Elizabeth who had turned on him earlier in the year to join the Horseman came out to see if he was alright, clearly still having feelings for him, she had been seen backstage with the nWo, and they keep kidnapping her and taunting Savage.  She gave an emotional plea saying she still loved him, Savage couldn't handle it though, was she telling the truth?

In other nWo news.  They held Nitro hostage one week, Vincent (Virgil) turned up as a new member and The Nasty Boys thought they were members but the nWo beat them down before they signed the contracts.

Jeff Jarrett has redebuted in WCW and was thought to be nWo but he claimed he would never join them and told them to "Stick It".  Ric Flair was meant to be defending his US Title against The Giant at Halloween Havoc but on Nitro the nWo took him out so Jarrett has replaced him.  Syxx is taking on Chris Jericho, The Outsiders are going after tag champions Harlem Heat and Hogan is facing Savage.

And that is where we are up to...

I'm sorry man. I guess got carried away.

Also I figured the Goldberg stuff would take awhile. Just thought i would throw that out there. Thanks for putting up the NWO stuff. I'll be checking it out again later today. Should be interesting to see it after 13 years.  :smoking:

Aye, it will take a while haha.  If the Halloween Havoc proves popular I'll put the nWo stuff from the next Nitro up in the next day or so.

Excellent stuff
This is how it works, You're young until you're not
You love until you don't, You try until you can't
You laugh until you cry, You cry until you laugh
And everyone must breathe, Until their dying breath
