Dennis Miller noted on his radio show yesterday that he will probably be hosting an episode of WWE’s Monday Night RAW in December.

Not again, I'm wearing google out with these searches on "Who is this guy hosting RAW?", when it comes to guest hosts, I've established he has a radio show anyway...  :P

I believe he was also mentioned in The Simpsons where Professor Frink implied he's not funny. (He's a comedian apparently :P)

Maybe if The Simpsons mocks someone, the WWE will sign them up to be a guest host. ;D The Australian Prime Minister coming soon??.....

I liked RAW this week. God its been a while since i've said that.

But i thought it was good. I can really see potential in Ted Dibiase. I reckon he could be huge. The US belt segment was good too.

I think he's way overrated, but then again, this is WWE PG 2009 so who isn't I guess. I think  if Cody didn't have that lisp, he would be the next serious big star.

Even with the lisp I think he can be a top line heel, I think he has shown far more potential.

No Way. Ted is better on the Mic for me and has more of that Superstar look. I agree Cody could be a good heel but never at world title level. Ted could do that as a face or a heel i reckon... just give him a year.

Lisa: Only 1 in a million would find that funny

Frink: Yes, we call that the Dennis Miller average, wha-hey

Ah Frink, he missed the 60's designing Napalm to drop on DANANG!

The WWE website has removed “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan’s profile from the Raw roster section. Instead, it’s been placed in the WWE Alumni section.

Technically, Duggan has not been released. His contract was not renewed in May 2008, though WWE continued using him on a pay-per-appearance basis. He continued to be flown to the weekly Raw tapings through the early part of the year, but was rarely used.

In his only wrestling appearance for WWE this year, Duggan appeared in the 2009 Royal Rumble match, entering at #29 and setting a record for the most years between Royal Rumble appearances. He was eliminated from the match by Big Show. He would not appear on television until the August 10th episode of Raw, where Sgt. Slaughter had Duggan come out in place of Bret Hart and introduced as “The best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be” in order to mock the Canadian wrestling fans.

Have they given up selling injuries?

Straight after a HIAC match - shouldnt they be dragging themselves to the ring on RAW?

Ok i feel like D-X is being shoved down my throat every week.

Main Event a PPV.... excuse me..... we have two perfectly good world title matches.

Every week on RAW its the same D-X. They always bum the host.... its just a little bit boring. Aside from that i quite enjoyed RAW. i thought Miz vs Kofi was ok and i even thought that this Ben guy (some crappy sportman) was one of the better hosts.

I like the work of Jerishow and Santino is funny as hell. If D-X takes the titles off Jerishow.... i may abandon wrestling all together. Coz then not only will they be rammed down my throught on RAW.... i'll get them on SD (my favourite show) too.

HBK does church no tuesdays so no dice!

Logic says they won the non-title bout so they lose the title one.

I liked how Jerishow were referred to as such by Big Show, I'm a stickler for team names (no matter how crap), team music (once again no matter how crap) and matching attire, when suitable, clearly in their case its not.

Also isn't it time Primo and Carlito made up and reformed, as a team they had a purpose and good matches, as singles stars they have nothing, splitting them up was pointless!

I have to say Raw this week was better than usual - I actually found some of the matches to be intresting

Maybe I thought the DX match was good because it wasnt untill 5 seconds from the end i realised it wasnt a title match....

Host seemed to be on okay guy - atleast not a total **** (oh god Piven and his retard friend - my tv missed that whiskey bottle by milimeters alone!)

it was a choice of revising for a mortgage exam or just sitting in front of the tv...

this weeks RAW was so awful i just couldnt stop watching - how would they top each awful scene?

Triple H on the phone? How could they beat that? How about Jillian winning the divas title? Now no way can they top that...

...but wait! How about Triple H and Hornswoggle?

...and now a qualifying match where John Cena cant qualify even if he wins...and yet still participates?

I dont even have Russo to blame!

Is Vinnie Mac to blame? Maybe its Triple H's fault - maybe its my fault for not taking that shot....

Its not just that WWE is awful - its that it gets worse every week....i would take a consistent awfullness but its week on week decline is staggering

..and next week Snoop Dogg - so expect some seedy diva match, and Santino trying to act black - how do i predict this stuff ::)

 a review of Mondays Raw

THE writers on Raw's creative team must seriously raise their game if last Monday's episode is anything to go by.

Too few members of the roster are being projected in the right way at the moment — despite a clutch of big names on the show — and the lack of strong storylines for the mid-carders is seriously hampering the product.

It is difficult to find one main fault with many components of this weeks Raw. There were a few laughs, plenty of star power and some interesting narrative. Even the guest hostess and her colleague did the job admirably.

Somehow, though, the show just wasn't enjoyable, and came off as little more than a mishmash of ideas thrown together with little cohesion.

We'll start with Bragging Rights, the upcoming Pay-Per-View. Remember last week Michael Cole told us that there would be a Raw v Smackdown tag match where the teams would be made of winners on the night? Well, they've changed their mind, as during Raw we learned who seven of the fourteen competitors will be.

One is Chris Jericho, who will captain the Smackdown team. Conversely, the Raw team will be skippered by DX, who were all over that show.

This was extra strange since Shawn Michaels wasn't even at Raw. Triple H kicked the programme off by phoning his missing partner, but although mildly amusing, the segment went nowhere and dragged.

Big Show and Jericho interjected, but somehow ended up arguing. Show — officially a member of Raw — got annoyed with Jericho and declared himself for the Raw team.

But Hunter said he had spoken to Guest General Manager Nancy O'Dell and they agreed that Show would need to beat Jericho in order to get on the Red team.

In order for this to make sense, Triple H needed to know that the tag champs would interrupt, know they would argue, and know that Show would want to wrestle for Raw.

To add to all that, Triple H took some potshots at Smackdown that might even encourage fans NOT to watch, despite the fact it is clearly superior right now. Show eventually won by count-out.

This wasn't the last we'd see of Hunter, who along with Michaels on speakerphone and a cardboard cut out of HBK, sat in an office backstage and basically just ate up precious time in the show for no reason.

Much of the rest of the show was taken up by Legacy, Randy Orton and John Cena. The Legacy boys were informed by O'Dell's assistant Nancy Menounas that they were in a triple threat with John Cena. If Cody won, he was in the Raw team for Bragging Rights. Likewise for Ted. If Cena won, though, neither of Legacy would qualify.

It was not explained what Cena's motivation to win was, neither was it made clear why Legacy were suddenly desperate to represent a show they have run roughshod over and team with DX.

Anyway, Cody rolled Ted up for a surprise pin, annoying his partner. Cue O'Dell to book Cody and Ted v Orton and Cena in a bizarre main event which culminated in DiBiase surprising Orton with a roll-up victory of his own.

The development of DiBiase is by far and away the most interesting thing happening on Raw at the minute, but the excessive and convoluted booking to get there was head-scratching to say the least.

The whole of Raw was covered in odd moments. Jillian Hall, Divas division jobber, beat Mickie James in about a minute for the Divas title. Admittedly she held the ropes, but she was awarded the crown. This was the moment O'Dell chose to inform the world that she had organised a massive Divas trade. This led to Melina fighting Jillian for the title and hitting two moves, one botched, and claiming the belt.

Beth Phoenix is another Diva on the move, on her way to Smackdown. Her last match on Raw was alongside Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox, as they took on Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim and...Maria Menounas. Yes, this week's celeb spot saw an actress and Access Hollywood presenter wrestle, and her team won.

Sadly, two matches which could have featured prominently lasted a combined six minutes. Jack Swagger beat MVP while Kofi Kingston beat Evan Bourne in matches which qualified them for Raw's Bragging Rights team. The latter begin while Raw was on a commercial break. Not the best way to elevate the midcard.

There are some that say the WWE talent roster is all wrong. We believe that they have the right talent, just not necessarily in the right order
.
